We had a great stay and the food was delicious. The property is a few minutes from the town, in a lovely setting. The hosts worked hard to make a great stay for everyone.

David was a super host; very friendly and helpful. Large room with an amazing view and a big comfortable bed. Shared kitchen facilities really useful. Nice being outside the main town and close to real Panamanian people.

Hostal Hansi is in Bocas del Toro, 17 minutes' walk from El Istmito Beach. It is 50 meters from the docks. All rooms are private, some have a terrace, TV, air conditioning and hot water. We stayed a Hostal Hansi for 3 nights, ended up extending for 1 more night and wish we could have stayed longer here. The photos don’t do this place justice. We absolutely loved it here!! The room with the balcony was so spacious, they provided fresh towels, quick laundry services, the kitchen was just perfect and spacious! And to top it off the staff here are just so so nice! It felt like a little home for us! Also, the first place we have stayed at in a while that had hot water!! One of our favourite places we have stayed on our trip so far!

It’s a bit away from all the bars so no noise is heard at night. Very friendly host. Hot water and great shower pressure.

Featuring a terrace, Hostal Bocas Tropical Paradise is located in Bocas del Toro in the Isla Colon region, 600 metres from Istmito and 2.2 km from Y Griega Beach. Quiet, clean, comfortable with plenty of nice little touches like a three-tiered bathroom caddy for toiletries, and a kitchen cloth. Coffee maker was well used, especially given the quality of the Chiriqui coffee. There's a supermarket literally just on the corner to the right when you come out the building. It is larger than most and stocks fresh fruit, veg, meat, breads and the usual tins and packets etc. Also has 1 gallon bottles of water for $2. Leave the rubbish bin outside the door to be emptied each day; towels and bedding were changed during our stay. Everything was clean and worked. We liked it so much we extended our stay for another 4 nights.
