The warm, welcoming, and kind hospitality of Valerie was a cherry on the top. Valerie made sure to check up on us every time to ensure we are having a great day and she did all our bookings and gave us information about the island. There are bikes in the villa that you can hire for 500 xpf per day. The villa gives amazing view of Mount Otemanu. It is centrally located is just 3kms away from the beautiful Matira beach and 5kms from the ferry terminal. If you are in lucky you might also get the chance to be picked up by the ferry by the lovely Dora, who will tell you about some great Tahitian stories.

I had a wonderful stay at this pension in Bora Bora. The location is fantastic, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the only public beach on the island, which is absolutely stunning. There are also a few nearby restaurants, bars, and supermarkets for snacks and essentials. The room was extremely clean, with a comfortable bed, a fridge, and a water boiler. Despite not having air conditioning, the efficient fan kept the room cool. The view from the first floor is beautiful—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee while looking out at the ocean. The owner, Heiura, was incredibly kind and helpful, even arranging for me to see her own doctor when I had an ear infection. She keeps the property spotless and provides free bicycles for guests to use. Scooters are also available for rent. The property is quiet, with a lovely external shower that has plenty of hot water. Her family is very friendly, and their cat and dog add a cozy touch. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay, and I highly recommend it!

We stayed at Lokai House 2. This place is all you need, it comes with all you need! Full kitchen, private bathroom, private parking, nice front yard and terrace, AC, bikes to rent, is very safe, quiet and you have a privacy! It was a blast for our family with two small boys! It’s rainy season, but no mosquitos at this place! You probably need a car, but it’s walkable to the ferry and supermarket. By car everything is close and you can move fast to the points of interest anywhere on the island. The owner and his family are welcoming and responded to our messages almost instantly. We will definitely stay here again, is the perfect place to explore Bora Bora!
