Although he lives on-site, he is usually busy with house chores, or on adventures of his own, so he's not there much. During my visit, the house was full of life and had a fairly steady pace of changing travelers every couple days. It was about 8-10 mins from beach and comes equipped with a very sweet house cat. Everything was super clean, and cooking utensils were aplenty. No dishwasher, so be prepared to tidy up after yourself. It is quite a remote location, and requires some effort to get to anything except the little gas station nearby, which was quite handy in a pinch with basic groceries. Also, TAKE MOSQUITO REPELLANT. The area is rife with the little buggers. Thanks, Nick! Mauruuru....

Hos VILLA SUNRISE MOOREA i Papetoai er der havudsigt, en udendørs swimmingpool, en have, et privat strandområde og en terrasse. Firstly, I wanna say a big Thank you to our host that helped us with everything: rent a car, airport transportation, restaurant bookings etc ! The villa is facing the ocean, has a beautiful pool and sun loungers area. You have access to a shared kitchen and an outside dining area. We used the kayaks daily and saw beautiful corals and colorful fish in front of the villa. The room was super clean and we had everything we needed. They offer great value for money, especially considering we are talking about French Polynesia. We even got all sort of morning treats (donuts, croissants, pancakes) even though they don’t offer breakfast on site. Thank you again, totally recommend if you need a base to explore for a longer stay on the Island.

La Maison Orange ligger i Moorea, mindre end 1 km fra Papetoai Strand, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. Mega god beliggenhed, gode faciliteter med vaskemaskine, stort fælles køkken og stue og en stor terrasse. Der var altid rent og pænt i huset og god stemning. Værelset var lidt småt til 3 personer, men der var eget køleskab på værelset og masser af plads i resten af huset så det betød ikke så meget for os.

The location and the whole property are like a dreamy oasis. You can see the love for detail in every corner, and you have all the amenities you need for a relaxed stay :) the rooms are spacious, same as the bathroom and everything was super clean. The true highlight is Sarah’s hospitality! She has the best insider tips and made my stay on Moorea very special :) she helped organize several activities and was always up for answering questions. Communication before was also very good, as I needed to move my dates and Sarah went beyond and above to help me out. Would always come back and I am very grateful to have chosen Fare Haurevaiti for my stay on Moorea! P.S. if you love stargazing this is the place for you.

Haere Mai I Te Fare ligger i Teavaro, 2 km fra Plage de Temae, og har en have, en terrasse og grillfaciliteter samt gratis privat parkering. The hosts were very kind and patient with me, as it was my first time in Mo'orea. I felt very well taken care of, safe (solo female traveler), and like I was part of the family. It was a perfect balance of time to recharge alone in my room, and also socialize in the common areas and get to know the hosts as well as other travelers. I loved their sweet dogs too. I would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

Fare Tokoau Moorea ligger i Moorea, 1,7 km fra Tiahura Strand, og har en udendørs swimmingpool, en have og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. Our stay at Fare Tokoau was more than wonderful. The owners are very friendly. The cabins are big and practical, with a front porch overlooking the beautiful garden and ocean. We can highly recommend the Alex Lagoon Tour which leaves from Fare Tokoau and whereby you swim with turtles, sting rays, sharks, snorkel between the corals, look for dolphins, etc. (book ahead in high season!). We would definitely come back here.

Moorea Golf Lodge ligger i Maharepa, 14 minutters gang fra Plage de Temae, og har en have, et privat strandområde og en restaurant samt gratis privat parkering. There are four separate bungalows on site. We had three couples staying for several days so it was nice to each have our own space, but to spend time together on an ocean front porch.

Linareva Moorea Beach Resort ligger i Haapiti, 28 km fra Moorea Green Pearl Golfklub, og har gratis cykler, en have og et privat strandområde samt gratis privat parkering. Skønt sted - kan kun give dette sted de bedste anbefalinger.. Personalet var meget imødekommende, smilende og hjalp med alt vi havde brug for. Udsigten var i top og havet var fantastisk og fuld af liv. Hajer, rokker, skildpadder og fisk i alle farver. Fin have med blomster og træer gav en stemningsfuld atmosfære.

Maison bord de mer ia orana lodge ligger i Moorea, 19 km fra Moorea Green Pearl Golfklub, og har en have, en terrasse og gratis privat parkering. Gæsterne kan nyde havudsigten. Oh, everything. Location perfect and idyllic. Quiet,. It was not cheap, but for what we had, it was great value for money, and certainly competitively priced. We had the whole house to ourselves, but it's ideal for a group of 6. Sharks and rays swim close to the shore, just below the terrace, and there's plenty of good coral in that lagoon. Absolutely spellbinding view from the upstairs room (we didn't go into the downstairs rooms). People running it are so lovely. Helpful, welcoming, happy to share their company. Florence is charming and a great cook.She will make you a 3 course meal for the price of a starter elsewhere. Sylvian and Pierre great company too, and so helpful.

Heimanarii, slodge Mahana ligger i Haapiti, 26 km fra Moorea Green Pearl Golfklub, og har en have, en terrasse og grillfaciliteter samt gratis privat parkering. We had such a unique stay at Mark's place. It is challenging to stay here without a car, but certainly possible, at least for a couple of days. I liked the camp cabin accommodations. The value for a full kitchen and the number of people who could stay in the cabin comfortably was exceptional. The other guests were friendly, but respectful and quiet on the property when it was night. The option to rent kayaks, surfboards and snorkel gear at a reasonable price is wonderful! There are good food and grocery options within walking distance. We would definitely stay again!
