Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Tema'e Beach House is a recently renovated homestay set in Temae, less than 1 km from Temae Beach. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio. Nick, the owner, is great. He was friendly and helpful. Although he lives on-site, he is usually busy with house chores, or on adventures of his own, so he's not there much. During my visit, the house was full of life and had a fairly steady pace of changing travelers every couple days. It was about 8-10 mins from beach and comes equipped with a very sweet house cat. Everything was super clean, and cooking utensils were aplenty. No dishwasher, so be prepared to tidy up after yourself. It is quite a remote location, and requires some effort to get to anything except the little gas station nearby, which was quite handy in a pinch with basic groceries. Also, TAKE MOSQUITO REPELLANT. Situated in Moorea, less than 1 km from Papetoai Beach and 1.8 km from Tiahura Beach, La Maison Orange offers accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. Highly recommend this cosy guesthouse, felt like a home away from home. Everything was great, very clean and well equipped. Nice meeting and chatting to the other guests there. Very close to the whale departure meeting point.

An absolute gem in the mountains of Moorea! The location and the whole property are like a dreamy oasis. You can see the love for detail in every corner, and you have all the amenities you need for a relaxed stay :) the rooms are spacious, same as the bathroom and everything was super clean. The true highlight is Sarah’s hospitality! She has the best insider tips and made my stay on Moorea very special :) she helped organize several activities and was always up for answering questions. Communication before was also very good, as I needed to move my dates and Sarah went beyond and above to help me out. Would always come back and I am very grateful to have chosen Fare Haurevaiti for my stay on Moorea! P.S. if you love stargazing this is the place for you.

Set within 2 km of Temae Beach and 4.6 km of Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course in Teavaro, Haere Mai I Te Fare features accommodation with seating area. Beautiful house in the middle of the jungle and lovely family. Philippe and Lucie are really welcoming, they take care of their guests , we felt part of their family. We have been lucky because we happened upon to a family dinner with their daughter and her friends. We really appreciate it and Lucie’s food was delicious , she is a great cook. We did the hiking on the back of the house, theirs lovely dogs Noki and Rex showed us the way, the best guides we could had. The room was really big, we had our own private terrace and bathroom. We didn’t have a car, but if you want to explore the island you definitely need your own transportation, Philippe and Lucie can help you with that too.

There are four separate bungalows on site. We had three couples staying for several days so it was nice to each have our own space, but to spend time together on an ocean front porch.

Extremely friendly helpful owners David and Vanessa, we felt right home away from home, you can ask them anything always happy to help, you can snorkel right off dock beautiful coral fish and black tip sharks free kayak, yummy breakfast upon demand delivered on terras, loved hotel kitty and doggy too, one can take drinks out of fridge at same rate as in supermarket! Love love love

Set in Moorea and only 19 km from Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course, Maison bord de mer ia orana lodge offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Oh, everything. Location perfect and idyllic. Quiet,. It was not cheap, but for what we had, it was great value for money, and certainly competitively priced. We had the whole house to ourselves, but it's ideal for a group of 6. Sharks and rays swim close to the shore, just below the terrace, and there's plenty of good coral in that lagoon. Absolutely spellbinding view from the upstairs room (we didn't go into the downstairs rooms). People running it are so lovely. Helpful, welcoming, happy to share their company. Florence is charming and a great cook.She will make you a 3 course meal for the price of a starter elsewhere. Sylvian and Pierre great company too, and so helpful.

Set just 26 km from Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course, Heimanarii, slodge Mahana offers accommodation in Haapiti with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as bicycle parking. We had such a unique stay at Mark's place. It is challenging to stay here without a car, but certainly possible, at least for a couple of days. I liked the camp cabin accommodations. The value for a full kitchen and the number of people who could stay in the cabin comfortably was exceptional. The other guests were friendly, but respectful and quiet on the property when it was night. The option to rent kayaks, surfboards and snorkel gear at a reasonable price is wonderful! There are good food and grocery options within walking distance. We would definitely stay again!
