He was friendly and helpful. Although he lives on-site, he is usually busy with house chores, or on adventures of his own, so he's not there much. During my visit, the house was full of life and had a fairly steady pace of changing travelers every couple days. It was about 8-10 mins from beach and comes equipped with a very sweet house cat. Everything was super clean, and cooking utensils were aplenty. No dishwasher, so be prepared to tidy up after yourself. It is quite a remote location, and requires some effort to get to anything except the little gas station nearby, which was quite handy in a pinch with basic groceries. Also, TAKE MOSQUITO REPELLANT. Firstly, I wanna say a big Thank you to our host that helped us with everything: rent a car, airport transportation, restaurant bookings etc ! The villa is facing the ocean, has a beautiful pool and sun loungers area. You have access to a shared kitchen and an outside dining area. We used the kayaks daily and saw beautiful corals and colorful fish in front of the villa. The room was super clean and we had everything we needed. They offer great value for money, especially considering we are talking about French Polynesia. We even got all sort of morning treats (donuts, croissants, pancakes) even though they don’t offer breakfast on site. Thank you again, totally recommend if you need a base to explore for a longer stay on the Island.

From the first moment we arrived we felt at home. Mehiti and Nono are very friendly and great hosts. You can use all the facilities in the apartment, spacious living room and terrace, well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom and bedroom with comfortable bed and Netflix. The beach and supermarket are a bit far away but still within walking distance. Rent a scooter to explore more of the area. We can recommend it 100%!

An absolute gem in the mountains of Moorea! The location and the whole property are like a dreamy oasis. You can see the love for detail in every corner, and you have all the amenities you need for a relaxed stay :) the rooms are spacious, same as the bathroom and everything was super clean. The true highlight is Sarah’s hospitality! She has the best insider tips and made my stay on Moorea very special :) she helped organize several activities and was always up for answering questions. Communication before was also very good, as I needed to move my dates and Sarah went beyond and above to help me out. Would always come back and I am very grateful to have chosen Fare Haurevaiti for my stay on Moorea! P.S. if you love stargazing this is the place for you.

Moorea şehrinde, Tiahura Plajı noktasına 1,7 km mesafede bulunan Fare Tokoau Moorea tesisi açık yüzme havuzu, ücretsiz özel park yeri, bahçe ve teras olanağı sunar. Our stay at Fare Tokoau was more than wonderful. The owners are very friendly. The cabins are big and practical, with a front porch overlooking the beautiful garden and ocean. We can highly recommend the Alex Lagoon Tour which leaves from Fare Tokoau and whereby you swim with turtles, sting rays, sharks, snorkel between the corals, look for dolphins, etc. (book ahead in high season!). We would definitely come back here.

Location perfect and idyllic. Quiet,. It was not cheap, but for what we had, it was great value for money, and certainly competitively priced. We had the whole house to ourselves, but it's ideal for a group of 6. Sharks and rays swim close to the shore, just below the terrace, and there's plenty of good coral in that lagoon. Absolutely spellbinding view from the upstairs room (we didn't go into the downstairs rooms). People running it are so lovely. Helpful, welcoming, happy to share their company. Florence is charming and a great cook.She will make you a 3 course meal for the price of a starter elsewhere. Sylvian and Pierre great company too, and so helpful.

We had such a unique stay at Mark's place. It is challenging to stay here without a car, but certainly possible, at least for a couple of days. I liked the camp cabin accommodations. The value for a full kitchen and the number of people who could stay in the cabin comfortably was exceptional. The other guests were friendly, but respectful and quiet on the property when it was night. The option to rent kayaks, surfboards and snorkel gear at a reasonable price is wonderful! There are good food and grocery options within walking distance. We would definitely stay again!
