The location was super, snorkeling right off our dock and close to town, but not too close. Josie was extremely kind in helping us plan our stay on the next island. It was really convenient that her family could rent us a car for our stay.

Small and tight room, no space for larger bags. Although the room were small, well equipped with fridge, microwave, kettle, and coffee machine. It’s clean and well organized with cupboard and hangers. Good showers with hot water. A good wifi connection inside the room. No airconditioning just a fan and sometimes can’t cope the heat inside the room. The owner Celine was very helpful she picked me up from the airport. Also, helping me looking for car rental and tours. If you ask me if it’s worth the price? I pay 71€ per night during the booking and I stay for three nights. For that price is not easy to find in Raiatea.

Location: it is right on the water, and in the far distance, you can see the area where the Marae Taputapuatea is located. There is a canoe available to use (2 adults) for free. There is an island you can paddle out to but we didn't do that because of a lack of time. You can swim in the water in front of the accommodation. The dining and kitchen area face out over the water - great for watching the sun set. The owner contacted a tour company late on a Saturday so that my family could visit Tahaa for the day. The company sent a taxi to pick/drop us off. You can wash your clothes (user pays), and hang them out on a line in the car porch at the side of the accommodation. If you were fit, you could walk to the local food store. We hired a car from Raiatea, so shopped in the main part of town. Ask if you can try some of the fruit on the trees of the accommodation - I wish we had! The hosts were very friendly. Nice lounge area. Excellent information sent out about how to locate the accommodation: professionally done. The owners don't tend to the money (outside agency does..and they were very accommodating). You can lock a room but not the accommodation. (I'm too much of a town person so think about that stuff). The accommodation is about an hour's trip to the marae Taputapuatea, the area also has opening hours for the parking area; remember you can't walk on the stone structures. Nice lounge area. He drove me to the shop as soon as I arrived since I had to buy some food before it closed. The excursion he organised of the lagoon is the best one I have done in French Polynesia. The bed is also the best I had slept in during my month-long trip. The kitchen is big, clean and has all necessary instruments for cooking.
