LE FARE BLEU Tiputa Rangiroa is a recently renovated homestay in Tiputa, where guests can make the most of its free bikes and garden. Clean and lovely accommodation. Great shared kitchen area, with filtered water (which was unexpected). The decking was the best part, lots of loungers and hammocks to relax on whilst looking out at the lagoon. The breakfast was generous and ideal to have available first thing in the morning. Emmanuelle is a great host, gave excellent details about how to get there and arranged taxis to and from the airport (plus the boat taxi which is a unique way to get to your accommodation!). She also very kindly rang some of the tour operators to help us arrange lagoon tours. The place is in a quiet remote area, which is lovely and peaceful. It’s 3km to the shop and pizzaria, which took us just short of 15mins to get there on the free bikes to use at the accommodation. The dog and two cats are very nice and well behaved. We loved this little peace of paradise.

We loved the location, the privacy of the bungalow, the outdoor patio, there was an option to cook and the shared spaces were also nice. Plus we loved our host Hinano, she picked us up at the airport, showed us around town, she made us breakfast every morning with care, she attended to our every need, really went out of her way to help us on occasions! We are very grateful for having the opportunity to stay here.

Chez Tamatuamai offers a garden, as well as accommodation with a kitchenette in Avatoru. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Everything! The host is so incredibly kind, one of the nicest people we’ve ever met in our travels! ☺️ The bungalow/house you get is very comfortable, and large! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island. Close to restaurants and you have a snack bar right next-door, very close to the scuba diving center because that’s probably why you’re there (like us. Right?) Don’t hesitate, book right away! 😊

Vaimoe Lodge Tiputa features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Tiputa. With quiet street views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The guest house has family rooms. During our 5 weeks of travel aroud the world this was the best experience. The lodge is spacious, good quiet location, most of all very very nice owners who took care of us. And all four dogs are adorable😃

Pension Tiputa Lodge Rangiroa offers a solarium, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Tiputa. We spent some time at tiputa lodge, which is a perfect place to relax and be away from the crowds. The quite new house is divided into the part where Henry lives and the flat, which he rents out, so one is the only guest. The apartment is beautifully furnished and is designed to perfection. We found ourselves mostly sitting outside on the terrace overlooking the lagoon. It is a nice place to snorkel and swim and I also went out on the Kajak provided. There are also deckchairs at the water. You have two bikes to explore the islands.The internet is superfast and reliant. Henry makes a great breakfast, we loved all the coconut breads, cakes and the best sweet coconut water. Also he makes very nice joghurt. At night he would pick up something from the snack for us or drive us to a small restaurant and come to pick us up to bring us back. (He did not advice to bike at night because of the dogs). We had a lovely time at Henry, we shared his passion for diving and we can recommend Tiputa lodge 100%

Set in Avatoru, Vahaui Paradis offers accommodation with a solarium and an open-air bath. The property features sea and garden views. We loved our room along the back of the pension, great views, breakfast each morning, super helpful staff. We could t have asked for anything more!

Located in Avatoru, Pension Turiroa " Chez Olga" features a garden and barbecue facilities. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. The location was great , really enjoyed the little lagoon in front. I loved my own verandah overlooking the grounds and ocean . The bed was comfortable and I had my own bathroom. The other guests where all very helpful and we enjoyed some drinks in the evening after diving. There is a pretty good market about 500 metres down the road and it’s about a 25-30’ walk to the airport.

HINAMOE LODGE in Avatoru provides adults-only accommodation with a private beach area, an open-air bath and a garden. Location, directly next to a nice beach. Host makes very good food for dinner.

Offering sea views, Rangiroa Bliss in Tiputa offers accommodation and a terrace. Featuring a family-friendly restaurant, the property also has a private beach area and a garden. Rangiroa Bliss is as off-the-grid as you can get. "High-style" local Polynesian bungalows. Rainwater for the showers and toilets, bring your own drinking water, and solar electric (that worked most of the time). Fans and sea breezes, no A/C. No WiFi, "two-bar" cellular. Good for email, marginal for the internet. There is a "road" to "town" but it doesn't connect to the road from the airport. On a busy day, maybe six cars went by. You want to escape traffic, this is the place. Boats are how you get around. Snorkeling and kayaking right off the beach of our bungalow. Excursions to places around the atol come right to your deck to pick you up. There are some cool adventures, do them. Ilona, the host, is an excellent cook. Polynesian comfort food. Take the meal plan. Bring your own alcohol and snacks for lunch. Easy to get a taxi to the local grocery store from the airport when you arrive, if you ask. Then, taxi will take you to the boat that shuttles you to the place. Our cup of tea, we loved it. Your mileage may differ.
