Set in Sežana, in a historic building, 20 km from Trieste Train Station, Guesthouse Domacija Sajna is a guest house with a garden and bar. You can have dinner under the trees tasting mushrooms and truffles and excellent meat! The staff is customer oriented and cuisine also very good. Apartments are clean, large and bed very comfortable. Take the chance to visit the Postumia caves which are really very impressive! Last but not least, I forgot my power supply there and after three days it was upon my desk at home. Top!

The parking space next to the house is perfect. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is served at your own table, which is nice! Outside, there is the possibility to relax, sit down, and enjoy the quite surroundings of the house. We stayed here for 1 night, as a travel stop between Croatia and Belgium and we completely came to rest. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Located within 20 km of Miramare Castle and 23 km of Trieste Train Station in Komen, Gostilna in pizzeria Pri Brajdi provides accommodation with seating area. Everything was amazing. Great place for rest, very quiet. The struff was very kind, friendly, always have smile on the face, very good people. It is small place and you have everything you need. Only good words for this place. It was very clean and new. They have also food and drink. I would strongly recommend this place if you would like rest or to visit Slovenia in this region or if you need to stay for a couple of days of you have a jon here. Very good price for this excellent service.

Vila Salamander is a pleasant accommodation located in a beautiful environment. It is a beautiful house with private parking. Although the room was smaller, it was comfortably furnished with lots of nice details. The bathroom was not part of the room, but it was private and large :) We also had two dogs with us, which were welcome in the villa. The kitchen was shared but very well furnished. It had everything we needed. We felt at home. The owner was very nice and helpful.

Offering a garden and garden view, Krasen Kras Apartment is situated in Komen, 17 km from Miramare Castle and 20 km from Trieste Train Station. We stayed in the apartment with two rooms. The self check in was operated through a key box at the house entrance and the code is given during the arrival day, which is comfortable in terms of arriving time, but we didn't meet the owner at all. The apartment has everything you need for your stay. Bed linen and towels are provided. In the kitchen there were also oil, salt, pepper and soap for dishes. There is the oven which is useful to cook. In the bathroom there was body shower gel. There is a washing machine, but we didn't use it, so no review about it. The private garden is down the stair, near the parking spot and is furnished with barbecue area and a table. The house is very quite and we had no problem because of noise from the outside. Air conditioning is available too. The single room is little, but comfy. An advice for the one sleeping in the single room is to close the bathroom's door to avoid it's little noise and the entrance of light. The double room is very spacious and silent. We didn't use the sofa bed in the living room because we were three. I would recommend it.

Toncevi Eco Estate provides a sauna and spa facilities, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Branik, 28 km from Miramare Castle. Lovely peaceful location, wonderful dinner offered when we arrived and a lovely breakfast. Wine from their own vineyard was a nice touch.
