Very welcoming and polite staff. Location is in nature, but close to the city. It's quite in the morning which is pleasing.

Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold has a garden, bar and shared lounge in Solčava. The property features mountain and garden views. There is nothing not to like about this place! The room was clean, quiet, spacious, and had a terrace with a fantastic view of the mountains. The location is ~10 minutes drive to Logarska Dolina, and there are hiking trails right out the door, including an easy one to Matka Kot with goat milk ice cream along the way :) They are also sustainable and have different bins to easily sort waste. What really sets the guesthouse apart though is the staff - Katja is so friendly with plenty of suggestions for things to do and what traditional foods to eat. Every night the guesthouse offers a different traditional meal, and we enjoyed each one she recommended to us. And her daughter’s desserts are delicious! We had a wonderful time in this area of Slovenia and would definitely recommend a stay here!

Providing inner courtyard views, Guest House Gostišče Jutriša in Rogatec provides accommodation, a bar and a shared lounge. The property features mountain and river views. Room was very welcoming with wood material and anything you need, including a wall hanger for cloths, big closet, TV, desk, silent fridge. Toilet made of granite and wood with a nice shower. The room looking to the geese farm is very quiet and with a nice view and sun in the morning. The ladies running the guest house are very friendly, giving very useful recommendations to move around, and serving customers with high quality, efficiently, offering a conversation and always a smile at the same time. Breakfast is delicious with local products served in a very nice eating room. Dinner is also available, home made, local, excellent, with some wines from the region around. It is served down in a pergola done by wine trees. Wifi is very good. Location is good to discover Rogatec, its castle, trekking around, going to Olimia thermal baths and crossing to Croatia around the corner.
