Baan Jaru is located 500 metres from Clock Tower. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and free public parking. We loved everything about our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. We appreciate the warm welcome and nice recommendations for the area. The rooms are very clean and nice, amazing value for the price

It can be hard to find at first, but it's a beautiful property and the breakfast was made fresh. I loved sitting out on my porch for a smoke break and listening to the rain. There was bug spray and fridge on porch to use. They sent my clothes off to be washed and folded when i asked if they had a wash machine, for a reasonable fee.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at this place, and we absolutely loved it! The view is incredible, and it’s super easy to find on Google Maps. The owners are such kind and friendly people, which made our stay even better. We really enjoyed having Thai BBQ with a stunning mountain view, it was unforgettable. Plus, it’s just 20 minutes from the Myanmar-Thailand border. We highly highly recommend it!

My husband and I stayed at the Romani Villa for a few rest days after Bangkok and travelling for several weeks. We could not have picked a better spot - the location was so serene and quiet, set in a lush manicured garden. The cabin/villas are thoughtfully designed and the hosts are just so friendly. Great restaurants nearby and easy to get to by bike. Highly recommend

The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly and Pilaa is an amazing cook. The business model for this place is fantastic: free pick up and drop off to the bus station and friendship bridge plus comfortable lodgings at a great price. Love the little bungalows.

Located in a peaceful area of Chiang Rai, Gita's House offers a friendly guesthouse, a 15-minute drive away from the Bus Terminal. Very nice rooms in Lanna style, well-kept, equipped with practically everything in the room! Very quiet location and about a 15 minute walk from the centre! I was lucky enough to meet the owners,wife and husband, very helpful people.. we will be back very soon.

The hosting family is very nice, the place is great for kids as there are plenty of bunnies in the yard a swimming pool and trampoline Since we had a car we did not mind the distance from the center but it is not too far anyway

I spent a week at Milin Guesthouse, the rooms are very nicely designed and very comfortable. location is in a Thai neighbourhood on the edge of town with everything you need nearby…I loved the experience of living amongst local people. The best part about staying here is the host. Alex is a very interesting guy with whom you could talk about anything in the world with. He also has his beautiful family living at the guesthouse who went out their way to make me feel welcome. The rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard and Alex took care of my motorbike rental and laundry. On my last day as my flight wasn’t until the evening Alex let me keep the room to chill out in past check out time as it was so hot outside this time of year, I was also treated to dinner with the family and a couple of beers before I headed to the airport. This without a doubt has been my best experience of accommodation in Thailand, and I’ve been coming for years.

Great location short walk into town around 15 minutes. The staff were so very friendly and helpful !! Breakfast was amazing fresh food & coffee. Organised a tour with Baan Porderdin, Cheer our guide went above and beyond. So helpful and friendly nothing was a bother. We will definitely go back to stay at Baan Porderdin
