Attractively located in the Yancheng district of Kaohsiung, 闆娘公寓 is set 600 metres from Love Pier, 800 metres from The Pier-2 Art Centre and less than 1 km from Kaohsiung Museum of History. The bed was the most comfortable of anywhere I stayed while travelling. More comfortable than my bed at home. The room was well designed and attractive. I hadn't noticed the quirky art when booking but it was quite fun. Maybe not for everyone. The host was very responsive through the messaging and everything was very smooth.

A recently renovated property, 迎曦醉月主題民宿 is set in Kaohsiung near Rueifong Night Market, Zuoying Station and Lotus Pond. The room was very new and clean. There was an elevator and facilities for drinking water (warm or cold). The bathroom was also very clean and had warm water. Relatively close to the train station (about 1 train stop from HSR).
