The host was so helpful in recommending to us sights to see and foods to try around Daxi and the surrounding areas. The property was a historic shop with comfortable, modern, artfully decorated guest rooms. We had a fantastic time and appreciated the host’s warm hospitality.

The bathroom was surprisingly large as well. Breakfast was quite simple but dinner was exceptional. We had a 7 course meal of really delicious food for $300 NT per person. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Lalashan.

The night market they recommended was the best one I went to my entire stay in Taiwan. Very friendly for Americans/ English speaking guests. It felt like the perfect cross of being in someone's home and a hotel.
