The homestay is out from the center of Long Xuyen in a quiet newer community along the water. It didn’t have a lot of restaurants or services in the immediate neighborhood, but it had just what we wanted…an amazing coffee shop overlooking the water, a really nice cocktail bar and a few restaurants that we enjoyed. Nina doesn’t speak English, but is very communicative through a translation app. She was very kind and arranged a boat for us for the small floating market, onward bus tickets, and a scooter. I would highly recommend this Homestay!

Lift for the luggage. Room was nice and clean. The kitchen was a must. The landlady is helpful, but doesn't speak English (thank you google trad)...

It turns out that the third bedroom was in the attic with only a little opening for a window. The A/C was very noisy and only worked intermittently. On top of it all, the bathroom was located on the ROOF and it can only be reached by walking across the roof and out in the rain! Finally the property is located on a Main Street where large trucks pass through at all hours of day and night.

We were lucky to arrive there on the weekend, the owner had the time to show us her farm, and after we were cooking and eating together. Luckily we took the tour next day with her. She organised an exceptionally good trip and she is a very good guide knows lots of things.
