Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, free BBQ facilities and free parking, Alice’s Secret Travellers Inn offers air-conditioned accommodation, 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre.

Lovely hidden hostel gem very close to the city center. Seb was very friendly and extremely helpful with sorting out a few things. He also gave us great recommendations for food and regarding our itinerary to Central Australia. The second time we stayed there we even got an upgrade for a bigger room.

Boasting a garden, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, YHA Alice Springs is situated in Alice Springs, 2.7 km from Lasseters Casino and 2.9 km from Alice Springs Convention Centre.

The air conditioning was poor. Things were old and some in need of repair. It advertised a movie shown every night but turns out only in the busy season. Manager was very helpful. He booked a tour for us and brought us a fan. The location is right in the middle of town is close to restaurants and shopping.

Due to extreme staff shortages, our recpetion is unattended majority of the time. We have a fully automated 24 hour self check-in kiosk system.

All the other guests were very friendly.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Such a safe space to stay in Alice, great environment for children and families to camp at! Also great if you are travelling solo as they hold lots of events for the guests at the park where you can go and meet new people!

Great location, very quiet, able to get a room with QB and single for myself and two children. Good facilities and we felt safe with 24-hour desk staff, secure parking. On-site Restaurant was open and available also.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, particularly the managers. Anna went out of her way to accommodate me despite late unplanned arrival. I’ve been travelling solo for nearly 3 months now, staying exclusively in backpacker / hostel accommodation and the YHA at Alice Springs is head and shoulders above anywhere I have stayed. Thank you and best wishes. David

Great facilities, I was only there for a night in a female-only room and had access to female-only showers and a bathroom. Felt very safe, comfortable, and very clean! Great vibes, hammocks, fairy lights, and a pool! Staff were very friendly and eager to help when asked about any recommendations or requests! Highly recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Alice Springs! :)
