Located in Broome, a 11-minute walk from Cable Beach, Cable Beach Backpackers provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a bar.

I'm an older traveller and felt welcomed by the owners. Sometimes older backpackers suffer discrimination from staff, but I didn't feel that here.

Welcome to Broome’s longest standing hospitality establishment. Our iconic hotel was founded back in 1890 as respite for the pearling crews and pioneer workers of the era, a tradition that we are...

The receptionist was super friendly.

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Staff nice and friendly. This yha seems to be the cheapest option in Broome and still so expensive for a double room in a hostel. Everything is expensive in Broome

This is a youth hostel, so the vibe was good with many young international guests. The room was clean with a ceiling fan and screened, louvered window, so the temperature was cool to sleep. The shared bathroom was clean with hot water. There is a beer bar downstairs and a free continental breakfast (cereal and toast and spreads). There were optional activities most nights. The hostel is within walking distance of the airport, information center, and Chinatown, so a really good location.

We loved our stay. It was very comfortable with everything we needed. It was in a great location near cable beach and we felt very safe. Loved the outdoor shower with bonus green tree frog. Would love to come back again one day!

Great location, pool and facilities. The kitchen did get a bit hot and congested, but the outside deck was a great social place to meet new people and enjoy some shade and cool breezes!

It is great value for money, there is a kitchen, a pool, and toilets and showers, and a outdoor lounge, bar and food is great value for money aswell. It's a flash hostel and I highly recommend staying here short term or long term (definitely a good back up plan if you cannot get a house/room share in broome) staff were lovely same with the bosses. Its a beautiful cheap hostel very close to the beach and other restaurants and very convenient. Thank you guys it's been a great 6 weeks

It’s in great location, a terrific place to stay, quite close to the beach, we had a lovely ensuite room, the property has a large pool and a big kitchen so you can cook a meal if you choose, the bar on site is cheap and the staff are friendly and helpful and do a great job
