Only 1.5 km from the ski lifts, this youth hostel is located in Grindelwald. The sun terrace and the lovely breakfast room have beautiful views of the Bernese Alps. Packed lunches are available.

The location was amazing, at the top of the hill with unobstructed view of the mountain peaks. Easy to reach by bus or on foot, atleast while coming down as it is uphill. Cleanliness, facilities and comfort was on point. Food was also good and a reasonable price as compared to the restaurants in the city.

A great hostel at a great spot accessible by bus close to a train station. The rooms were clean and practically private if you are a part of 3–4.

A typical dream Swiss chalet! It’s so classic and well-decorated. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. The room is big and advanced, equipped with wireless charging and even a tablet clock. Attention to details with well-folded towels and hairdryers.

The location of this hostel is breathtaking. You are surrounded by mountains. The staff was super welcoming and friendly. Bf was included, and let me tell you, what a great breakfast! They offered pizzas for a cost at night, and they looked amazing! Drinks were also available. The shared dormitory was ok, and the whole house too. Toilet facilities shared but cleaned.

The vibe of the hostel is excellent. The location is couple of steps from Gimmelwald cable car station and many trails starts from the hostel.

This is one of the greatest locations on earth! The views are literally incredible. The hostel is positioned perfectly to enjoy the views, or to start a hike. It is also right next to the cable car station, so it's super convenient. Everyone was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome, and the breakfast was very good.

The location and vibe can’t be beat! It is great fun with a lovely community feel and amazing community spaces. There is no better view in the world. The breakfast was basic but good and the pizzas at night were great! I had stayed in 1998 as a backpacker and loved it so much I returned 25 years later with my family:)

After all, this is a hostel. It is run by friendly college students who need to be more professional. It took a long time to check in because there was only one computer. They would not check you in even five minutes before 2 PM! The entire process of checking in is chaotic. This is not a hotel but a hostel. Families with little children was staying there. I would rather stay in Murren and pay more for a more comfortable stay.

A good budget option, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Just go prepared for what it is - a budget hostel with lots of young folks.
