The hotel and hostel are located in a nice garden, with swimming pool. The location is close to the railway station, the city center and the lake. For us it was perfect place to make a stop on our train travel from Italy to Holland

The place is brand new (works in 2021), everything looks good and safe, wifi goes like a charm, bathroom is great, furnitures are nice, nothing to say it's a great place to stay, the view and the silence in the evening are priceless.

Friendly staff, good breakfast. The restaurant is good, very tasty food. It has a hostel vibe but for the price, it's great.
Better to have a car... not central.
Very spacious showers.
The view from the terrace is fantastic!

The location is a bit remote from the city of Lugano, but the views are wonderful and it's surrounded by nature.
The house itself is very cozy, welcoming and well maintained.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
The swimming pool and leisure facilities were excellent. There was a bus from near the station to almost directly opposite the youth hostel and there are shops eg Aldi and Denner within easy walking distance.
Great location. Less than 10 minutes bus ride from Lugano station.Easy to get around and safe.
Very friendly staff approachable and helpful when needed. Hotel view is very pretty.
Comfortable stay, the rooms are simple but good for the price. Suggest asking for a room that is not interconnecting so a little quieter.
Staff were really friendly and although we didn’t have breakfast ( we were on bikes and on a very tight budget) they offered us a coffee before we left.
Safe place to put bikes.
First time at Lugano and at this appartment. I had a lovely stay. Great location, just about 5 min walk to the lake and nearby restaurants (I had a good breakfast at Mauri food, lunch at California Bakery, also could recommend Agape). I stayed for work purpose, the congress centre is also just a few minutes walk, so very convenient.
Safe building. Super clean.
Savosa Youth Hostel was an amazing stay for the price in Lugano.
Publish Transport is within a few mins of a walk.
Availability of Guest Kitchen was an addon.
The stuff was very friendly, the location for a youth hostel was amazing, the room was very clean and we enjoy our stay very much. We’ll return for sure.
Montarina is a clean, well managed low-budget hostel in the Heart of Lugano. It is located in a lovely private garden and close to the city center. Recommendable to families with younger children, young couples, singles and aging people who are still young in spirit.
