Conveniently located 400 metres from a supermarket, MaPatagonia Hostel Casa Historica offers accommodation in Puerto Varas. Rooms include a shared bathroom.

I have been to many hostels in my life, this has been by far the nicest and cleanest I've been to. It is super cozy with a huge yard where you can enjoy a tea on a bench under an apple tree. They even make your bed everyday which made me feel at home!

This was the best hostel we’ve stayed in. We loved it here! It was so clean, really comfortable. The staff were lovely and Pierre was great at helping us with our plans while in Puerto Varas. It was close to the centre and in a safe neighbourhood. We loved the little details in this hostel - they have thought of everything to ensure guests have a pleasant time. We loved it here!

By far, one of the best hostels, where we stayed. Location is super central, close by to Puerto Varas downtown, with a huge supermarket just around the corner. Staff is super friendly, providing already prepared and structured information on what to do in and around Puerto Varas. Shared bathrooms were always spotless. Communal kitchen is fully equipped. Also possible that more people cook in parallel. Huge garden attached to the hostel with hammocks and seatings where one could enjoy the sunny autumn days.

The nicest hostel I have been to in Chile, and I have travelled a lot through Chile. Large comfy dorms with big lockers, great common space to hang around and no less than 2 kitchens (one for vegetarians) with free fresh coffee, tea and cake (if you're lucky 😊). Staff are very friendly and Pierre, the owner, obviously cares a lot about his guests. Good value too - Puerto Varas isn't cheap. Surely hope to be back!

The MaPatagonia was the best hostel I stayed in during my South America trip. The owner was super nice and welcoming. The facilities are really good and the building is very beautiful and nicely decorated. I can really recommend!

This is the best hostel we've ever stayed at! Amazing value, outstanding facilities and very friendly and helpful staff! We couldn't have asked for a better experience while staying at MaPatagonia hostel! We loved all of the little things they do to make their hostel special like their great decor, special attention to cleanliness and their awesome coffee machine, which was amazing after having only instant coffee lately!

I don't know why this hostel isn't rated higher... It's great! Private rooms, with private bathrooms, at the equivalent price of dorm beds in the other hostels in town! Super good vibes... The staff, the funky chill zone downstairs, the yard outside. Great location.

Hostel in a beautiful restored german home with a huge back garden. Loved the way the hostel is setup, it is super warm and lots of personal touches for such a large space. Perhaps the best hostel I have ever stayed at!
