Phenomenal views of lush mountains and a delightfully heated swimming pool to hang out in. 30 minute hike to the Finca Victoria Coffee Farm. Delicious food at the restaurant with a really nice warm and social atmosphere in the evenings. The "Mellow Rice from the Sea" dish was our favorite meal. We had a wonderful 45 minute hot stone massage. We did the private waterfall hike two days in a row -- super peaceful swimming in the river with waterfalls around.
Located alongside a crystalline river and surrounded by the jungle and mountain views, Finca Carpe Diem Ecolodge offers accommodations 11 mi from Santa Marta and 8.7 mi from Tayrona Park.

The grounds were beautiful and the beautiful three pools with amazing views were the highlight. The 5 waterfall hike with Alvaro was also amazing. Free yoga was also nice.

Location is great and quite an adventure to get to. Before you book you should be aware that it’s a gnarly 40m moto ride to get up there. Once you’re up there though, THE FOOD IS INCREDIBLE. There was also a nice social atmosphere so it was easy to meet people to go on the hikes around the area with. This was the perfect place to have a super mellow weekend. Clean showers, clean rooms, good WiFi.

They cancelled last minute with a call saying that we were already warned that they didn't have availability. We booked through Booking, how would we be warned? Simply irrational...

Jorge is super nice receptionist, helps you at what he can. Room is basic but has enough outlets for phone charging, and mosquito nets. Close to the river where you can chill. Peaceful place 4 min walk to the village center. There's free place for bike parking.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
