Loved the location, it's on the edge of town so it's quieter than the center of town and a very short walk. The room we had was more than we actually needed, we booked the family room on the first floor with a double bed and bunkbeds. The staff is supurb. We were a little disappointed that the kitchen is not currently serving meals but there is a fully equipped kitchen for the use of all guests and a large area with tables and couches to hang out in. Very clean and comfortable rooms and beds. We plan to extend our stay in Colombia and booked another room for 5 days after a side trip to San Rafael which I highly recommend.

What I liked the most was the comfy feeling pretty much like you’re at home. Our staying was incredible and it is definitely worth it to stay over. We had to glad to meet Daniel and he was our host, very nice, polite, professional, and downto earth person.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
The host speak English wonderful and took me around town on a horse. Once in a lifetime fiesta and this place is inevitably going to be the go to hostel in San Rafael.
Perla was an amazing host , along with Warlock her loving golden retriever. Every corner of the hostel is beautifully decorated by art made by her . You can really connect with nature and feel at home . Will definitely come back . Thanks for everything
