Located in Dos Brazos, Bolita Trails and Lodging features a garden and a bar. The hostel provides both free WiFi and free private parking. At the hostel every room comes with bed linen and towels.

Bolita is an amazing place. First off, the trails are worth the trip if you like to hike. In my experience it is rare to find great trails that you don’t need a guide to hike in OSA. I stayed in a small room and the set up was comfortable considering how far up in the jungle I was. The staff was friendly and cooking and bathing facilities were solid. A great deck above the cooking area was great for yoga or just taking a break during the afternoon heat. This place is natural or clothing-optional so be prepared. I was there twice over a month period, one time there was a fair amount of nudity, the next not at all. Really depends on who is there. Can’t recommend enough if you want remote with great hiking.

Location, Federica&Dario are perfect hosts, room is clean and the price vs comfort rating is excellent. Simple but cheap and so friendly.

Really enjoyed being submerged in the deep jungle and enjoyed hiking all the trails. Fantastic forest bathing. Our favourite trail was the valley trail for views but to see wildlife you need to go deeper on Bonan (we saw monkey, toucan and butterflies). From the hostel you can sit and enjoy hummingbirds from your room or the social platform. Enough showers, toilets and kitchen facilities that you never have to queue Ron and some of the volunteers were nice Excellent value for money for the location and we enjoyed the magical stay overall

The trails are amazing. I really enjoyed my time with both the volunteers and fellow guests. This is a place that attracts interesting people. I spent 5 peaceful nights here. Having stayed on a previous occasion, this visit further taught me to keep my mind and senses open both on the trails and at the hostel. The best experience is to be had by reducing any preconceived expectations. Such a beautiful natural place.

beautiful open plan living (naturist optional)hostel! The best place to meet likeminded travelers, recharge and live comfortably in nature. Up at the hostel it was run by volunteers who put in a lot of care which was great, adds a little something to the place! Nice walking trails and hidden gem spots all over.

The Hostel is located into the jungle very close to Corcovado National Park. It has two well equipped kitchens. When walking the associated walking trails animals like snakes, spiders, frogs, howler and white-faced monkeys... can be observed. If you don't want to spent your money for a Corcovado tour, then you can have some exciting yet relaxing days in a rainforest instead.

One for the books! Not only was Ron(host) very welcoming, he created a safe space for travelers and nature lovers that excepted any expectations I had. Many memories where made during my 6 night stay. And the trails that he created were a bonus! Oh and you will definitely spot so much wild life during your stay! Thank you Bolita Rainforest Hostel!

What an amazing experience. The hostel is situated on the border of Corcovado National Park and offers a budget friendly alternative to hiking in the jungle and spotting wildlife. We saw sooo many different types of birds, insects and even a snake. The hiking trails are easy to find and well maintained. Bear in mind that you will need to trek 30 min to get to the hostel and bring enough food to cook yourself during the duration of your stay. There is no fridge, so plan accordingly.
