Everything you could possibly want in a hostel. The family running it are beyond kind. They are always cleaning and the place is spotless. Kitchen is well equipped and has everything you could need. Would definitely recommend.

Situated in Liberia, Hostel Dodero has a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property.

Super clean, beautiful garden, confortable hamacs and matresses, humming birds and Flowers while I’m cooking, I love the outside kitchen, staff very very nice and super eager to help, amazing service! The place is Very convenient, super close to buses, restaurants, stores, ETC. Can be quite noisy in the private room since the door is right next to the only table to chill out and next to kitchen. They can party until 11pm in this hostel… also in the morning some are noisy but I didn’t care since I wake up at 5:30am… There are not many ’toilets and showers and be aware that all the people from dorms come and use the same toilet as the private rooms.

Situated within 38 km of Parque Nacional Santa Rosa and 1.3 km of Edgardo Baltodano Stadium, Hostel Pura Vida en Liberia features rooms in Liberia.

The hostel is close to the bus station which is good. My friend and I arrived and upgraded to a private room with aircon after seeing who we’d share the dorm with (and paid more for this of course). We were verbally told by the owner that we could check out at 11am. The sheets had some stains but not worth arguing. In the afternoon we were told off for running the aircon (that we paid for!!). In the morning we were abruptly woken up by reception and told to leave (time was 10:15), even after we said it was confirmed by the owner that we could check out at 11. Not great but fine for a night.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Lots to do there, tubing, climbing, hot springs. Good value for money- cheaper version than the big hacienda up the road, you can also access their tours. Pool bar swim up. Comfy beds.

This, by far, exceeded my expectations. It's a family-run hostel, and the hosts are so welcoming. The place is cutely decorated, very comfortable and conveniently located. What blew me away is the cleanliness though - I think this was the cleanest place I've ever stayed - and I don't mean just hostels. This was cleaner than the high-end hotels I've stayed at. I will definitely be returning.

Nice and helpful staff, who know a lot of activities to do in this area. They even provide a self made map with a lot of information about busses, activities and border crossing to Nicaragua. I liked the common area. The hostel is very safe and close to the bus terminal.
