We had a very comfortable stay. The rooms and kitchen were very clean and well equipped, and we were given extremely accurate and precise directions to navigate the busses to La Fortuna. Would recommend!

Very beautiful hostel in Liberia . I tried the hostel next to it Hostel Dodero but Pura vida more better and beautiful, there is many things that I like . For example the medical pillow, the bed is so comfortable, you can charge you phone and all you electronics devices just next to your bed, there is Curtain for privacy, the kitchen is very organized. All those things I didn’t find it in the hostel Dodero unfortunately. And the good thing too is the bust station if you like to go anywhere you want in Cost rica or Nicaragua is just two minute walk from the hostel .
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Lots to do there, tubing, climbing, hot springs. Good value for money- cheaper version than the big hacienda up the road, you can also access their tours. Pool bar swim up. Comfy beds.
This, by far, exceeded my expectations. It's a family-run hostel, and the hosts are so welcoming. The place is cutely decorated, very comfortable and conveniently located. What blew me away is the cleanliness though - I think this was the cleanest place I've ever stayed - and I don't mean just hostels. This was cleaner than the high-end hotels I've stayed at. I will definitely be returning.
Nice and helpful staff, who know a lot of activities to do in this area. They even provide a self made map with a lot of information about busses, activities and border crossing to Nicaragua. I liked the common area. The hostel is very safe and close to the bus terminal.
