A beautiful house with great outdoor sitting area. Big dorm room on second floor with 10 beds and a bathroom and small dorms on the first floor. Bed is comfortable. Kitchen is nice and has everything you need for cooking. Sometimes could be pretty busy when several people cooking at the same time. Good social vibe. Met people and went out together. Location is pretty good. Just a couple of minutes walk to the center and 10 minutes to the beach. There are restaurants, grocery stores, banks, pretty much everything nearby. Owner was helpful to arrange airport pickup. Surfing lesson is good. Better quality than a lot of others out there. Matias is giving you a lot of knowledge about surfing instead of just showing you the body position and go. It’s for someone who really wants to learn surfing and continue, not just to stand up on the board and take pictures.

On the positive side, once I finally reached the staff, they were kind and apologetic, doing their best to make up for the situation. While I appreciated their efforts, the initial experience of being left waiting in a dark area and the long delay was hard to overlook. The staff is friendly, but the disorganization and lack of communication can cause a lot of unnecessary stress.

I was happy with my stay. The rooms had a/c, large kitchen, it is not a party hostel, there’s rocking chairs in the patio area, it’s a 10 minute walk to the beach, I would stay here again.
