He's gentle, helpful, smart, cool, wise, I can't stop describe how nice person he is.
He knows how to taking care of guests very well.
When I had troubles to making travel plan he always helped me by suggesting tour or providing transport but that was no pushing at all. So it was always comfortable to talk to him.
Location is perfect, middle of a big market.
I stayed 4th floor and I really loved that shower there.
It's hot and water pressure is very strong, hard to find this much good shower in any place.

My stay at Kashta Nubian House was nothing short of amazing.
The host Omar is truly a great person. His wife is also so sweet.
Omar is definitely one of the kindest people I've ever met. He made his place feel like home.
He greeted me upon my arrival and provided a welcome drink.
Anytime I needed anything he was available. He offered help with directions and even walked me around the village the first day that I arrived.
His hospitality is top tier!
I also have to highlight the amazing home cooked breakfast. Truly the best that I had while staying in Egypt! You can tell that he truly enjoys being a host and ensuring guest get the best experience will staying in Aswan!

Really great modern hostel accommodation, very thoughtfully set up with cozy common room, soft lighting and outlets by every bed. Thoroughly clean and well located near Carrefour and restaurants. The owner was extremely helpful, communicative and diligent in arranging things on my behalf. Great vibes, thank you Nia!

My family and I had an amazing time at Doroka Nubian House. I would give it a million stars if I could and would recommend the stay to anyone for their time in Aswan.
Just a small drive away from the Aswan rail station and market lays Doroka Nubian House with Nubian style brick housing. It’s in a very quiet part of town with an almost private view of the Nile. The local market also sells basic necessities and trinkets which made our stay memorable.
Even if it’s not your first time in Aswan, I would highly recommend a stay at Doroka Nubian House.

We had an amazing time staying at Chams House! My family (3 people) and I stayed for 3 nights. They greeted us with a fruit basket and lemon mint juice, which was such a thoughtful surprise!
The house was super clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the family made us feel at home the entire time. Since we had a lot of luggage, they arranged a microbus to pick us up from the train station, which made things much easier. At first, we were a bit unsure about the location, but the family helped us plan a great program for the 3 days, taking care of every little detail.
A big delicious breakfast was waiting for us every morning. We also asked for a homemade traditional dinner, and they cooked an amazing meal for us. The family was so friendly and kind—we had wonderful conversations with them, and they were some of the nicest and most humble people we met in Egypt. They even called the bus station to help us with an issue we had with our bus to Hurghada.
The wifi was surprisingly great, I was able to work the whole time freely. But the highlight for us was how authentic and local the whole experience felt. It was so different from anything else we saw in Egypt, and being immersed in the Nubian culture was unforgettable. The islands were beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the Nubian massage my mom, aunt, and I got in the guest house was amazing!
They even let us check out late, since our next bus was untill 3pm. We absolutely loved our time at Chams House and would recommend it to everyone. Don’t think twice— I'm sure you’ll love it as much as we did! Thank you to Mr Chams, Mrs Bertuda, Khetamy and the cutest little Anas, you all made us feel at home.

David and his wife arranged a very pleasant 4-day tour experience for us. He picked us up at the Aswan Airport, and we did site-seeing all day after that. We were pretty exhausted by the time that we got to his hostel. Shower spray bath was good, and the bed was comfortable. Very unusual pillow, but we coped. We left very early in the morning to begin the remainder of our tour by riverboat ending in Luxor. David arranged everything.

I loved that the hostel is remote and in a super quiet place. They have a menu and they can make special requests too, like vegetarian food in my case. The owner was very helpful and assisted organising a last minute boat trip on the Nile to the Nubian Village - which I highly recommend. I've done it with a motorboat, and it was magical. I wish I could have spent more days here.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They gave me plenty of recommendations and did not overcharge for water (like many hostels and hotels do). The area felt safe as staff as well as locals from the village would assist if need be.
This is the nicest place I have been in Egypt.
Mango hostel is a very beautiful hotel, with colors everywhere and plants. It’s not in the city but in the island just in front (5 min by public boat, very easy) so it’s quiet and chill.
The room was comfortable and all clean.
What was the best, is the staff. They are all very kind, and make sure you feel good and safe. They also arrange you tour if you need.
A little heaven.
Great location in Elephant Island!! This is a great place to experience authentic Nubian culture and lifestyle. I highly recommend to stay here rather than in central Aswan, The ferry is very easy to get and is very cheap. You are also close to shops and restaurants plus your are supporting a local family
Property is in a quiet area of Aswan, away from the noisy city. Crossing the street it has an exclusive area to swim into the Nile river or do some kayaking, which are rented for a cheap price. They also offer water and soft drinks and a small breakfast included. You can easily spend many days relaxing in the hostel, without even leaving to do attractions.
Great owner who was very helpful, the room was nice, and I loved the view from the rooftop!
The hostel is on the island and is very easy and cheap to reach by public ferry (takes 5mins). Walking around the island is also fun. Check out King Jamaica for some good food. :)
This village is great if you want to experience local life. The staff here are really nice and always ready to help with a smile.
It's very safe to walk around this island even at night. I felt comfortable with the Nubian people and trusted them completely.
For those seeking conformity, this hostel may not align. But if you want to relax and enjoy the peacefulness while looking at the stars, this is the place to be
David hostel can provide all options for Aswan Abu Simbel and Luxor with reasonable price.
Sleeping in the hostel is recommended to backpackers. Free laundry service was great.
Seko and the staff was so friendly and helpful, everything was so clean. the location is perfect and the rooftop is awesome!!
I highly recommend all the people to stay in this hostel because you only share the room with oye her 2 guest and price is so cheap. don’t hesitate it, it’s the best hostel on the island!!
