The women's dorm felt relatively safe, even though the front door is open 24/7. This is as central in Bordeaux as you can possibly get. Everything was a short walk, even the nearest tram stop. The rooms were pretty clean and the curtains block everything out. The window opens into the courtyard so it's nice to let fresh air in and listen to the sounds of people chatting, birds chirping, and dogs barking. There's a small light and outlets inside each cubby. The locker under the bed was big enough for my massive luggage, but the proximity of the other beds makes it hard to access luggage.

Overall, I’d say it’s okay to stay for a night or two. Everything is generally clean, except for the toilet and shower inside the rooms—they had a slight urine smell. The staff speaks limited English but does their best to help. The shared toilets and showers on the floor are much cleaner than the ones in the room.

The staff were very kind, especially at check in, great location in Bordeaux for walkability
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Great location lots of restaurants near by …easy access to Bordeaux on the tram and a lovely swimming pool..!
So good we’re going back tomorrow for longer.!!!
