Located 5 minutes’ walk from Brighton’s seafront, city center and pier, a&o Brighton Beach offers rooms with attached bathroom and a licensed bar and restaurant offers meals, bar snacks and drinks.

I came alone from Japan and stayed for a week. By the time I was leaving, it felt like home, and I already started to miss it. That’s thanks to the amazing staff, facilities, and location. The people staying here with me were also kind, warm, and friendly. Thank you for everything. I will return to Brighton just to come back here.

The room was awful. We paid over £200 for one night and the view from the window was... an internal wall. This made the room claustrophobic and uncomfortable to be in. It would probably only be acceptable in a budget youth hostel. Very disappointing. Complaining directly to the hotel led nowhere. They just told me they regretted this but weren't prepared to do anything about it.

The room was huge and had a lovely sea view - great for £120, considering it was one of the cheaper options available. Everything was clean, we felt safe, the staff were super lovely and the place was a great location. Great that we could store our luggage there after check out. Perfect for when you want a no-frills room.

It was a bit expensive for a hostel but otherwise amazing. Clean and safe, great location but be aware of the seafront area in the evening, it's not a safe area lots of homeless and crime

It was in need of renovation more like a hostel than hotel, but it was cheap everything worked and bedding was clean. Great location for after a night out.

recently had the pleasure of staying at a hostel that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a warm and friendly host who made me feel right at home. The level of service provided throughout my stay was nothing short of exceptional. The hostel itself was clean, well-maintained, and offered a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The dormitory rooms were spacious and thoughtfully designed, with sturdy bunk beds and ample storage space for each guest.

This is a youth hostel, it is cheap, and it is good enough for a short stay. It is old and needs refurbishment. I'd probably enjoy it more if I would still be a student and 15 years younger. It can be fun!

We had such a lovely stay for two nights and felt right at home. it’s in a great location 10 mins to the centre or less by bus if you don’t drive. Exceptionally clean, cosy and comfortable. very private and was actually much cheaper than a budget hotel for our stay! we would love to stay again in the future. can’t fault it!
