Oxford Road and the Uni are a short walk, too. Staff were very helpful and were always around. The room was nice, and the bed was firm but comfortable. It's a pretty great spot if you're after cheap and cheerful accommodation in Manchester. We went to watch a concert and was charged £180 just because coldplay was in town any other time the rooms are £45. Ibis should be ashamed to charge this much when these rooms aren't worth £20.
