Sunset Surf Camp is such a lovely place! From the moment I arrived I felt like home. The energy in this place is incomparable. The pool is so nice and Peyo and Babette, the hosts, are very nice and welcoming. I would 100% stay at Sunset Surf Camp again. The wifi works very well, the kitchen is well equipped, the rooms are comfortable and clean (I stayed in a single bedroom). I also met some amazing people during my stay here so if you are a solo traveler, this is PERFECT for you.
The beach, bakery and convenience store are an 8min walk from the hostel. There is also a bar right next to it which is really fun for dancing, meeting people and having good drinks.
I can’t wait to come back!

It was very accessible, in the center of Saint Francois which was great
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
I have mixed opinion about this apartment. On the plus side, it is a cheap option, it is OK cleaned, not spotless, but OK. the bed is comfy, there is more or less everything you may need. See other box for minuses.
Typical hostel spirit. Big kitchen fully equipped and large sitting room both inside and outside. Tiny swimming pool but well appreciated to cool off after a day of hiking.
Great location, many good restaurants and nice beaches nearby.
Spacious apartement, very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, large pool with great view, beautiful garden, lots of parking places.
And last but not least- amazing host Charlotte- true sunshine! Thank you for the fruit basket and rhum. Those are small things that matter.
Beautiful, clean, well-equipped, with cheerful staff. Visitors of different backgrounds (mostly French like Guadeloupe, or multilingual). Equal to my best-ever hostel in Montreal (Canada).
Probably one of the best hostel around the globe and for sure the best hostel in Guadeloupe. ...btw: the interim hosts Philippe and Matéo did an amazing job :-)
