Palmira Hostel is located in the old Ecuador Embassy building. The property is right across the French Embassy and 1312 feet away the U.S. Embassy.

Advantages: location in a good neighborhood; helpful staff members; clean, spacious room (and bathroom); lots of patio space -- generally a pleasant place to stay for a few nights.

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

The hostel has a nice big roof terrace where you can barbeque, multiple hammocks and a semi-nice view. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Also, we were able to securely park our motorcycles. The staff was really nice and helpful as well.

Location was excellent... I walked into the old city centre in only twenty minutes. The area is also safe to walk around at night, with lots of food options nearby. The hostel itself is pretty, comfortable and relaxing.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Great location, great facilities, very beautiful rooftop terrace. A comfortable place to relax in a hectic city.

Great location, Palmira is probably the safest part of Tegus. Bars, cafes, restaurants and a mall at walking distance. Staff is super friendly, the room is massive and the room was quiet. One tip to find: is oposite Plaza Benito Juarez, and hostel Palmira.

Great hostel in Tegucigalpa. I felt very safe and comfortable there as a solo female traveller. The dorm is incredible value for money.
