Had a wonderful two-nights stay in the hostel. Welcoming and helpful staff, very cozy room (I was the only one there). Got a sandals with teethbrush and soap as a gift, drinking water available for free. Great place for an easy money in Bandung!

As always, I was so ready to get out of the city while backpacking, and Jakarta was no different from Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur in triggering that. If you feel like me, then Bandung is best used as just a base for visiting Kawah Putih and Rengganis. Buton Backpacker Lounge was a bit tricky to find. The rooms were decent though not quite what I expected given the ratings. At first I felt a little discomfited, but the staff completely turned things around because they were incredibly friendly. I also booked my tour through them. Bandung does have some highlights other than the crater and hot springs, like the Angklung performance and the stunning scenic route from Jakarta, but beyond that I’d say get outta there and head somewhere quieter.

I’m a solo traveler and when Zaky opened me the door of the house I immediately felt at home. Such a good feeling after my long trip accross Indonesia. If I had the posibility I would definitely stay at least 1 week more. This place is so incredible. I bring back some wonderful memories to France!

    The Staff was always there to help out...Gilang helped me with my day trips, train bookings ....also arranged for car with a driver who was excellent and they really took good care of me. Thanks Gilang for everything. Hope to come back soon someday.....

    Great location, firendly staff. All the free toast, water and coffee you could want. Excellent cheap restaurant immediatley left over the bridge when heading towards the mosque. Staying here deepend my love of Indonesia.

    Fantastic staff, particularly Ridwan and all the rest of the team. In a great location near Paskal 23 shopping centre, it provided easy access to many shops and other areas around the hotel. Grab and Gojek access downstairs too. Decent 3 star rooms, with an unheated pool on site. I was able to hire a driver for the day from the hotel to visit various sites (thank you Ridwan, you were a very safe driver). Warm friendly service. Breakfast on-site good too.

    Everything was PERFECT ! The people working their speak perfectly english and they are SO nice! They helped me when i needed. Their is a kitchen and eggs, tea, coffea and lots of things to put on toast including a delicious jam. It's one of the best hostel i did. The bed, bathroom and the rest and very confortable. I'll go back for sure if I can. Thank you very much!

    One of the best hostels we stayed at in SEA. Very clean, large social areas and a large kitchen free to use. There was always coffee, tea and noodles for free. Breakfast also good were you could cook your own eggs as preferred. The people working there was very friendly and created a great atmosphere. Would definitely stay again

    We liked the hostel. Breakfast was amazing, but you need to prepare it yourself. Eggs, bread, jam, butter are available, tea and so on. Dormitory beds are clean. Receptionists are always ready to help and suggest ideas for tours and things to see. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, we managed to go on tour (it was amazing) and to rest as well. Thank you.
