I booked a single bed and was upgraded to the double which was great! A little hot at night but worth the stay. Wish I stayed more than one night :)

Very friendly and welcoming staff. They were always available to help us with any questions or issue (thank you to the 1 staff member who helped us with the motor rental company issue). They would also give us fruit to try which is very nice of them. We also booked the Mt Bromo tour with them and that went very smoothly.

I had a great time staying in this hostel in March 2025.
The add-on services and tours/transfers that can be booked with them are highly recommended and are also price-wise not more expensive than other providers' offers (plus have the pick-up from the hostel included).
Starting from arranging some tours prior to arrival and receiving a personal check-in video, as I arrived shortly after their opening hours in the evening to them organising a great bus shuttle to Bali - all was managed well, patiently and with great hospitality. They have been nothing but great and I felt very welcomed.
The girls/ladies managing the place are a good team and I hope they will reach far with their business.
PS the biggest plus as a cat lover was their house cat Sultan who would also sit peacefully in a corner to watch over the place (for the germ conscious people - he is not allowed on any common places, e.g. the table in the dining area or kitchen, etc)
The room I had was neat and tidy, the bed very comfortable.

Really nice hostel! The common areas were very nice and clean and the dorm rooms were very comfortable. The sheets were so soft! Only thing is it might have been nice to have a separate dorm room for people getting up early for Bromo because I wanted to sleep at 7 pm but obviously it wasn't quiet then and also not really before 10 pm. It would have been fine on any other normal night.

I cannot fault this hostel! It is super clean and for the price has everything you need. The tours they organise are incredible- so seamless, the staff are also so kind and helpful. The 3D2N bromo ijen tumpak sewu tour was incredible value and was the best thing we did on our travels

The staff were super nice and friendly, attend to every needs! They didn't have a hair dryer at the first place, but then they somehow got me one. Great location and price.

Overall it's a good place to stay, comfy enough, and good staff
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
