Being close to Benbulben Mountain was amazing, the air so clean. This was my first stay at a 'hostel' and it exceeded every expectation. This would be a great place to hold a retreat. Kitchen has all you could need and the cleaning products. Beds were more comfortable that typically hotel ( mattress was on single bed not bunks- bunks mattress still good) Very safe relaxed atmosphere no compromise by staying here . Tea, coffee & sugar and cooking oil provided. Very relaxing stay. Sitting room was nice and spent some time there reading and watching tv . Only downside was that noise could be heard so easily from adjoining rooms 🤭 plus the bunk bed mattresses, whilst fine for kids, had hard springs for a teenager but the staff kindly provided a mattress from a fold out bed as a topper.
