The location and the atmosphere of the hostel was amazing. The staff was very helpful for exchanging coins for bus and I had the best Irish coffee at the bar!!! However, people preparing their suitcases at 3am broke my sleep:(
Ashfield Hostel is the most centrally located hostel in Dublin - between Trinity College and O'Connell Bridge and one minutes' walk from Temple Bar, Grafton Street and attractions.

Overall liked very much, especially the friendly staff. Only dissatisfaction was that the next-to-bed charger had a design which made it impossible to use with a (standard style) EU-IRL conversion plug. Also, not a complaint but hopefully helpful feedback for the property management: the sink in room 2 is leaking continuously, a bit loud at night, and also a large water cost I imagine. (;
In the heart of Dublin, Abbey Court is the best located hostel on O’Connell Bridge.

Comfy beds with curtains, good location, okay breakfast (toast, porridge, sausage rolls, salad, and pancakes available), and nice common areas.
I could hear the shared bathroom quite clearly from my room- it is a hostel so you expect some noise, just a bit more than expected from that.
Please be advised that all guests must present a valid physical ID or passport upon check-in. Without this, guests will not be able to stay in the hostel.

Friendly staff, clean, good location, not enough common space shared with long term stays that dominate space. Elevator. Safe/security with card entry.
Experience our hostel in Dublin city center, with easy access to Dublin airport and Temple Bar.

They are hosting club events with extremely loud music till late at night. I could not sleep most of the time there. People kept knocking on the door at 3-4 am just messing with people trying to sleep. The bathroom was not that clean and. I also was sleeping next to a window facing the court yard and i could smell people smoking pot coming from the court yard.
The beds are decent and comfortable, luckily i had a lock to lock my stuff but just an FYI for people coming, you need to bring your own lock or buy one if u want to lock your stuff in the storage unit.

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Great location for town, we got upgraded from a private twin room with a shared bathroom to a private 4 bed dorm with an en-suite. The room was clean, beds comfy and the staff were really friendly. The breakfast was good, just toast, cold meat, cheese, fruit, salad and soup but a great addition to the already cheap stay.
Good value for money, in that it was cheap and right beside Connolly station. Clean, with a comfortable bed and warm water in the shower. There's a nice bar in the foyer area and they serve good food too. Overall, a good hostel if you're on a budget.
Ashfield Hostel by far the best hostel I have ever been to. A perfect place for backpackers, great environment, excellent hospitality and most importantly outstanding location.
Think youth hostel, dormitories, study rooms, multi cubicle showers and toilets, kitchen, laundry, helpful staff, cafe.
Quiet safe clean rooms, solid enclosed bunks with a comfy mattress, shelf, light and charger inside the bunk and a curtain to for privacy.
Also a locker/drawer under the bunk for stuff.
Didn't hear any noise from any other guest during the night
Staff friendly, helpful and efficient
Nice area for cafe, old stained glass architecture, relaxed with other guests
Outside garden for relaxing, chilled
Really nice hotel room, great location and fantastic value for money. It's the only hotel where I've been asked to leave a deposit which was a bit strange, felt a bit like a hostel in that way. Now, the sound proofing between rooms isn't that great but you cannot hear the traffic outside despite it being on a busy road. Overall, I loved the room and had a nice stay right on Temple Bar.
Felt safe in my room as a female travelling alone for work. Doors locked from the inside (this is strangely uncommon on budget hotels). Great location. GREAT restaurant downstairs for a convenient supper.
I stayed in in the hostel and it was exactly what a hostel should be cheap clean and safe the staff were very professional and helpful I will stay again there on my next vist too Dublin plus the price isn’t too bad either
Best hostel I have ever stayed in. Really clean and comfortable. The bunk bed set up is brilliant - all feels very private and safe. It was quiet at night, I never had to queue for the showers and the lounge / dining and study rooms are excellent. It’s a short walk into town and right by a bus stop. Lots of nice places to eat and drink just minutes away.
