I booked a week (great value and the deal included breakfasts which were great!) but then I extended by 3 extra nights and I understood I would have to change rooms because my bad was only available for 2 nights. Then when I double checked it was only booked by two nights….and then the extra nights jumped to almost 100€ for 2 nights and then 80€ for the night. So 200 for 7 nights to ++80€ per night ALL BECAUSE IT WWAS THE May bank holiday .
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
This was a budget friendly option when traveling with our adult children who expected us to pay.
We had 2 bathrooms and a small kitchen lounge area. It was nice to have that separate space.
A cheap location half an hour west of Dublin. Great for travel to the capital on a budget, a night in Dublin could easily cost the same as a week here. Basic rooms and facilities.
