The hostel is a good option to stay in the area and don't spend that much money for your holidays. Check in was easy. The kitchen isn't too big when it gets crowded, but you can take turns with other people cooking there. Bathrooms and toilets have enough space and were very clean.

Amazing location and a really cute farmhouse! Friendly hosts and a generally nice environment to be in. The place was clean with decent cooking facilities available as there is nothing close by to get food. Would highly recommend!

The host was very pleasant and gave me a lift to the correct building after discovering I was in the wrong one ! I thought that, due a few art students floating around (they were there for a residency) that it was open, and simply not fully in gear yet because it was the very start of the season...
I got to the building I was actually supposed to be in and found that that very much wasn't the case!
Well stocked facilities, like milk frothers, and if you had a bit of change, use of a coffee machine, plenty of cutlery, with books, jenga and chess, and lots of table space too.
The view was gorgeous. I couldn't stop staring out the window in disbelief.
The room had its own sink, which was very nice!
I had a lovely stay :)
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
amazing hostel. Excellent food and beer at the restaurant. Bathrooms separated from sinks and showers which is more hygienic. Great vibes. Great location. Gets the job done. Kitchen clean. I will totally stay again next time.
Central location (small town anyway)
A lot of parking
Comfy beds
Would have been a perfect youth hostel accommodation (if not for the price: 280,- € per night)
A really funky hostel, that looks nothing from the outside. You walk in to an amazingly cool bar, where the hostel reception is. They then slide the doors open into a lovely lounge with a TV and games etc the rooms are off the lounge. We had a 6 bed room to ourselves. The kitchen and showers are on the other side of the lounge and are very well equipped. We loved staying here and it was the cheapest accomodation that we booked whilst in Iceland. Very good value.
The bar also had snacks and obviously drinks, but wasn't at all noisy.
Very pleasant hostel, with a lively atmosphere. We booked a room for 2, which turned out to be a 6 person dorm room with a double and 2 bunk beds all for ourselves- which offered us all the space we needed. Shared facilities were in very good shape and clean . There is a pleasant communal space, as well as a nice bar where you can also get (a simple) breakfast.
The hostel area was well decorated and felt cosy, the kitchen was well equipped with common foods like salt pepper and oil, lots of toilets and showers, the bunk beds were sturdy so minimal disturbance to your neighbour. Staff was wonderfully helpful.
Great location - the bus stops outside the hostel, and it’s walking distance to everything in town. We also walked to the Vok baths from the hostel and it was about an hour so very doable.
The hostel and attached bar were really cool, very quirky decor and they had lots of nice touches like a board game table and comfy sofas.
The kitchen had everything you would need and was a perfect size for the size of the hostel. The toilets and showers were clean and great and the staff were very helpful.
