Eco hostel floreale features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Ercolano.

Beautiful hostel with exceptionally friendly and welcoming hosts. A great opportunity for meeting and engaging with other travelers and students from all over Europe and the rest of the world! The hostel is decorated beautifully with original paintings and art objects covering every surface. The common rooms are pleasant community spaces and the private room we stayed in was comfortable and secure. The location is convenient to multiple train stations and is a perfect home base for exploring the Vesuvius national park, the Ercolano and Pompeii archeological parks, and could also be a good base for budget-minded travelers to take day trips to the Amalfi coast. The hostel also has many friendly cats!!!

H Hostel Friendly Accommodation has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Ercolano.

I have difficulties to rate this place. For me it was a good solution, because I was sick and could stay there for several nights for 15€/night and had a room to myself, because no other women were there. If you're looking for a simple and cheap bed, this is a good option. If you're looking for a hostel, especially outside of the tourist season, it's not. There was no reception whatsoever. I had to send my ID via WhatsApp to a guy and got the infos, which was fine. Every evening this guy's mum came to the hostel to do 5 minutes of cleaning (if any). A few days in I talked to a 35 old man who seems to live in this place. He asked me if I'm alone in my room and why and if I want to spend time with him, because he's lonely. I told him that's inappropriate, since I'm alone in a hostel and also I look like I'm 25. He said he didn't understand and got obviously emotional. Another guy, who also seems to live there for the fishing season, offered me and an 18 year old other guy drugs. They also kept using and pissing all over the women's toilet (one), because it was closest to their room. I told this to the WhatsApp reception guy and he did not care at all. I told him I don't feel safe and that the rooms PIN are easy to figure out (literally the room number), but he told me it's no problem and to go to bed. Nothing in this hostel is functional. Not a single door or window, so at night it was very noisy and cold. The fridge didn't work, the oven didn't work, the washing machine was out of order, the guys took the two lighters I bought myself for the stove because the reception ignored my request for a functioning lighter. I used the mens shower because the others were more broken than anything else. We also had to text and beg for toilet paper and were out of it several times.

Featuring a shared terrace with stunning sea views, Hostel Brikette offers dormitory rooms in Positano, a 13-minute walk from the beachfront. Free WiFi is available throughout the hostel.

Very nice staff and great communication. I am glad they gave clear instructions on how to get the bus upon arrival to go the hostel. I think it would be terrible to follow google maps thinking it would be a 20min walk from the port since Positano is just stairs going up the mountain. Since it was low season they gave me a free upgrade for a room with sea view (really, really beautiful, pays off all the stairs) and private toilet. everything was always very clean. good breakfast options and nice common area.

This is my second time staying in Hostel Brikette- the first being in 2022. I truly loved the cleanliness, friendly staff and views from the beautiful room! I stayed in the female-only room which had a shower, two toilets, and two sinks connected to the room, along with gorgeous terrace views. I instantly made friends with the girls in my room!

Amazing people, we got a plenty of tips about our stay. Greatest views ever from a hostel. Attention to details design-wise and regarding technicalities. We visited the double room with a balcony available beside the dormitory rooms and had a great hotel-like private experience with the benefits of more fun hostel vibes.

This was an excellent stay at an extraordinary hotel. It is not cheap for obvious reasons but the whole experience was completely faultless. Budget permitting I would stay there whenever I could. It was a special occasion for my wife's birthday (which the hotel marked) so the normal accommodation budget was blown, but it was worth every penny

Hostel brikette is in a great location in Positano, right near the bus stops which take you into the town, as well as too and from Sorrento. The rooms are clean and comfortable and contain good air conditioning. It was great that the rooms were cleaned each day!

Staff were very lovely and helpful, wifi was great and balcony enjoys great views. Felt very safe here and walk from town centre wasn’t bad given the whole city is bulk stairs. Very close to Franco’s bar and Le Sirenuse which made it a great location for the walk home They even provided free snacks and bottled water/beer for us!!

Located in Positano itself, the view is breathtaking and worth all the stairs leading to the hostel. (Take the bus, don’t be a fool like I was) The hostel in itself is beautiful and the team makes you feel at home from the second you step inside. They offer affordable and yummy breakfast in the morning and drinks throughout the evening creating the perfect occasions to meet the other guests. Definitely the place to go if you travel on your own and on a budget!
