Located a 5-minute stroll from Shimoyoshida Station, Hostel & Salon Saruya offers a renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation with free WiFi.

We loved our stay at Saruya! The location was great right in the buzz of a main street. The decor was very thoughtfully done and the room huge - it felt as if real care was taken with the design. Very comfortable beds. We had breakfast at the cafe as well which was lovely.

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt.

The place is perfect and takes about 10 minutes to walk. But I could see Mt.Fuji from my room and the facilities were great.

Set in Fujikawaguchiko, less than 1 km from Lake Kawaguchi, HOSTEL MICHIKUSA-YA offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge.

Traditional japanese style room with Mt. Fuji view. We couldn’t see Mt fuji on our first day of stay due to cloudy sky but saw it on second day from our room at 5 am. Mt Fuji view was amazing. Very near to Lake Kawaguchiko. Host was very kind. He offered to pick up and drop us back at the station. Common kitchen and bathroom were comfortable. Nice japanese garden and common lounge.

K’s House Mount Fuji is a 19-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Train Station. It offers simple accommodation with free Wi-Fi, a free-use kitchen and spacious lounge in the popular Mount Fuji area.

The traditional style Japanese room was really lovely. Clean, warm and quiet. Good advice to book bus out of town online. It gets booked up fast!

The hostel was just beautiful! Extremely clean, bright and the room was spacious. The whole time it smelled like fresh cooked bread which was also delicious. The bikes were a bit tired but got us around the lake safely. Not a hostel to meet other travellers just a cosy home stay. Letting us leave our luggage all day was also a great perk!

Great value for money. The room was big for one person, with two beds (I guest I would have preferred a double/queen bed). The beds are comfy and they provided foam earplugs. Great location in Fujiyoshima, just right on Honcho St. where you can see a great view of Fuji (on a clear day!) Shared bathrooms were clean. It was a very aesthetically pleasing hostel.

The entire atmosphere is super cosy and comfortable. The owner, Hiro, made tasty breakfast every morning for a very affordable price and it was a perfect way to start the day. The hostel offers excellent experience for a small budget. Hiro, speaks English very well and is a great conversation partner.

This was the best Hostel we could have stayed in. The owners are so lovely, kind and welcoming. We had a really good time also with the other guests, played cards and had great conversations. The rooms were clean and comfy. The bathrooms and toilets also absolutely clean. We could also rent bikes to explore the area. We would always come back. Rating of 10 is not enough. Absolutely perfect stay. Thank you so much.

Favourite hostel I've ever stayed at. Extremely clean, comfy and large beds and a kitchen. I hired a bike for the day which was so cheap and convenient, and after a long day cycling I came back to the warm and most cozy common area I have ever seen. The music was so cute and jazzy and it immediately felt like a hinge away from home. You can store your bags there before and after checking in/out and Hiro San the owner was so accommodating making sure that everything was fine, we were warm and happy etc.

Great location, close to train stations and a shop nearby. The hostel is also well-equipped with most things you would need. We were shocked by the amazing view in the next morning when we open the door, seeing Mt Fuji right there outside of the window.

The lady that welcome us was super nice, with great English. The place is simple but everything is more than what you expect from a youth hostel. Great room size for 3 people, and very cozy. The location is good for Fuji spotting from different places and not that far from the train station and cool neighborhood.
