Overall, a nice no frills hostel. The rooms are big enough, and the WiFi worked well. Plus the kitchen is well equipped for cooking.
Roku Hostel Hiroshima has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Hiroshima.

Such a comfortable homey hostel. First time I didn’t mind getting upper bunk bed because large steps on side of bed lead you up - not like a tiny ladder to climb up it felt like climbing a regular set of stairs. I found a great book to read in their little library collection. Welcome drink included. Friendly and kind atmosphere by staff. Met a few people here since it’s small it encourages a social atmosphere. 7-11 just next door. Soap and towel included which I always appreciate. Oh and they even have a free massage chair!!
Located in Hiroshima, within less than 0.6 mi of Atomic Bomb Dome and a 12-minute walk of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, WeBase Hiroshima provides accommodations with a shared lounge, and free WiFi.

Great for budget travelers. It is what it supposed to be a clean neat orderly hostel. To say the room was small. If you have any claustrophobic issues, you may want to rethink. I need a window not a small square that doesn't open. Larger options may exist. Staff very pleasant and helpful
Hostel Mallika is located in the Hiroshima City Center district in Hiroshima, 1312 feet from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and 2297 feet from Atomic Bomb Dome.

The hostel is old and everything shows its age. The pods lack most modern amenities one comes to expect from capsule hotels. They are also not pleasant on the eyes.
The hostel is arranged in a very strange way. Although the washing facilities are on the third floor, the blow dryer and sinks are on the 2nd floor.
The washing areas are very clean. The bedding was similarly spotless. The location is fantastic. You are 5 mins walk away from ground zero and other downtown areas.
It is suitable for a brief stay but you can probably pick a more modern accommodation.
Conveniently set in the Hiroshima City Centre district of Hiroshima, Guesthouse Akicafe Inn is located a 4-minute walk from Hiroshima Station, 0.7 miles from Chosho-in Temple and a 16-minute walk from...

We had an amazing stay with a private room given to me and my mother at no extra cost!! There is a restaurant on the bottom floor and the hostel is situated at a great location 5 minutes from the JR station!
Well located in the center of Hiroshima, RED HELMET House & Sports Bar Hiroshima is within a 11-minute walk of Myoei-ji Temple and 0.6 miles of Hiroshima Station.

This is a quiet and peaceful hostel in a good location close to the train station. The staff is very friendly and helpful, I was able to leave my luggage before check in. It is also very clean. The cabin is spacious and I did not feel claustrophobic.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Super cozy hostel close to the Miyajima ferry. The hostel had everything we needed and a very tasty breakfast. The living room area is very nice, with some table tennis, games and area for kids. The beds were very comfortable and private. The hostel takes care that it is quiet and everybody can rest. Very recommended.
Great value for money, perfect location on the way to Itsukushima (Miyajima).
Spacious dormitory room with a large sofa in the middle.
Towels provided for free and women only shower room (with access code - thank you!).
The kitchen / commun area were so spacious and cosy!!!
No need to specify check-in time, very convenient.
I definitely recommend!!
It seemed a little suspicious that it had a self check in because I didn’t know about that before booking. And the price was quite cheap so we expected something small and dinky but it was way better than expected. The room was heaps nicer than the photos showed, and the self check in was incredibly easy. The bathroom was actually a really good size for a hotel especially compared to other places we’ve stayed in the past weeks. They provided so much for us in the room as well like single use products, pet products and general amenities.
The location is perfect if you’re planning to go to Miyajima island. The price is nothing compared to accommodation options on the island, and the hostel is literally just 3 minutes away from the port. It’s not the best hostel I’ve stayed at, but they provide everything necessary, the staff reply very fast on the app and are helpful, and it’s very cheap.
The owner very nice, comfortable common Space with all services. I loved breakfast quite cheap. Very near the station and well located between Hiroshima and Miyajima.
They had a PS2 and a Nintendo, table tennis, darts and board games all free of charge. Manga in English, a very cheap and good quality restaurant in house with the option of buying snacks as well. An amazing hostel, seriously, the best I have ever stayed in.
This was by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Great thematic rooms, perfect facilities, I'm sure I'll be back again one day with another group.
