Featuring a garden, 古民家の宿 鎌倉楽庵 is located in Kamakura in the Kanagawa region, a 3-minute walk from Yuigahama Beach and 0.8 miles from Zaimokuza Beach.

Loved everything about this wonderful place! It’s a spacious tastefully decorated and fully stocked traditional Japanese home near the Hase train station. We used the owner’s bicycles to visit all the temples and shrines in the Kamakura area, making touring easy.

The staff was very friendly and talked to me in English which was helpful as my Japanese is not great. The staff also made good drinks at the bar and were very kind.

Located conveniently in the center of Yokohama, HARE-TABI SAUNA & INN Yokohama - ハレタビ - is within a 9-minute walk of Yokohama Marine Tower and 2.9 miles of Sankeien.

A stone’s throw from the main stretch of China town. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The sauna and cold plunge were amazing, the staff was pleasant and the ones that couldn’t speak English all had pocket translators, so easy to communicate. For a capsule hotel, it had a nice thick bed. I’m comparing it to the “mattresses “ at the Gran Customa and the Mayudama Inn. The capsule also had space on the side, and at the foot of the bed, to stash your stuff…which is also unique for a capsule. Rustic charm and pretty quiet at night. Keep in mind that they clean from 10am -4pm EVERY DAY, and you’ll need to find somewhere else to be during that time. I was there for a week in March.

Incredible value for money. Great location between the beach and the main busy shopping street. We were a little nervous about this accommodation because it's been a while since we stayed in a hostel but it feels more like a budget hotel. Exceeded our expectations.

The hostel was amazing. Love the spacious bathroom and the room itself is perfect for one person. The hostel's location is convenient and safe for a solo female traveller. I also got breakfast there which was also delightful. There were three to four options to choose from and they were all delicious and very filling for the start of the day.

Really loved the beds and facilities out of 4 hostels I've stayed during my trip to Japan this round. It's about 5-10 minutes walk from the station with a supermarket on the way. The staff were kind to lend an umbrella when requested. The bed size was really comfy, with lots of space to put some bags at the edge of the bed for a 163 cm tall person. The bunk bed structure was really sturdy and gave the privacy needed between beds as well. 10/10 will come back if I ever visit Kamakura again.

Bushi-san is a really nice host, super friendly and very interesting. It is a small house, only 3 rooms, so you can really interact with the other guests and Bushi-san. The hostel is well located at walking distance from the train station and all the touristy place around. The room with bunk bed was more confortable than we would have expect, and it was very quiet at night so we had a good rest. The Japanese breakfast was really really good. We loved it here :)

Great friendly stuff. They advised me wonderful beach in the area, it was super helpful. Also, proper bed cover, not sandwich sheets, like in most cheap hostels. This is an advantage.
