Really clean and modern hostel.
The staff is very friendly and you can clearly see that they take good care of the hostel. They also gave us great recommendations of nearby restaurants where we enjoyed a good dinner.
All in all, we had a super one night stay at HATAYA!

The place was so beautiful, the room was wonderful, the food was the best i had in my entire 15 day trip.
Kaya Yama no Ie is a total gem - the room and facilities were all very clean. The bed was super comfy, and so were the pajamas that were provided!
Stayed for just one night and felt really sad to leave. Would be great to stay for at least 2 or 3 nights.

Great spot that was clean and as expected. If you want to use the Sauna, make sure to sign up the day before or in the morning for the evening. If no one signs up, they don’t turn it on and it take a while to heat up.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
we love this place so much. a quiet little harbour. the day we booked had no other customers, so we could enough the whole hostel and the onsens. the dinner is extraordinary and remarkable, also the breakfast. the room is big and clean.
