Situated conveniently in the Ikuchi Island district of Onomichi, 島宿Nest is set 25 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, 28 km from Saikon-ji Temple and 31 km from Saikokuji Temple.

A wonderful place to stay in Setoda. We should have stayed a couple of more days and used it as a home base to explore the islands by bicycle. The accommodation suited us perfectly - our room even had a water view! The town was very special too, a highlight of our trip.

Guest House tokonoma is set in Shimo-yuge and features a garden. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property.

Great stop for Shimanami Kaido if you go a bit off the standard route on Yuge Island. Kind owner, speaks very well English and room is good.

Conveniently set in the Ikuchi Island district of Setoda, Cycle Guest House SHIOKAZE is set 25 km from Saikon-ji Temple, 28 km from Saikokuji Temple and 29 km from Senkoji Temple.

The property was cheap. But the 12cm millipede which crawled out of my toilet across the floor was enough to make anyone’s stomach churn. Took 20 minutes to get rid of it. No staff anywhere.

Very good location for stopping mid-way when cycling the Shimanami Kaido. All facilities were very clean and practical to use. Dinner was delicious. Convenience store on the opposite side of the street was very convenient for breakfast snacks.

There were a common area and balcony overlooking the strait. Spacious shared kitchen and bathroom. A section of table, a safe, and a basket for taking belongings for bathing were prepared for each person in the dormitory.

This hostel was unique and cosy, the beds were comfy and warm, the room was spacious, the host was a really nice guy and recommended an amazing tiny ramen restaurant for dinner and the washing machine and dryer worked well and were cheap (something that has been a problem at lots of other hostels in Japan). Great value for money as well!

Nice atmosphere in a kind of old and narrow building. You could say, a traditional ryokan made a baby with a backpackers hostel.

This place is great on the Shimanami Kaido, fan of architucture will love this place. Everything was beautiful to the details. Food there was beautiful too! 'Hipster' fancy and not cheap but worthe its while for sure! Single rooms have amazing views but the dormitory is as comfy and nice - the view on the tree is a nice gesture- Still need earplugs if you are sensitive to sounds. Staff where nice and helpful and down to a little chat which is always appreciated.

Niché hostel with great location. The owner was cold, and you gave to make your own bed for the excessive price. Otherwise, it's very good

Best hostel I have ever stayed. Clean and well-organized. Each bed is equipped with a small desk and chair. The room does not get too crowded, and protects your privacy very well. They provide you with towels every day, and have small lockers for the valuables. The bed was also comfortable.

Great location near train station. Temple walk nearby. We couldn't cycle cos of rainy weather, but the ferry terminal is just next to hotel. We have sea facing rooms - great views, but not cheap.
