I was prepared for the worst. The reviews are pretty bad about this hostel but it was better than I expected. The lounge is quite comfortable and because the owner is almost never there it feels more like a shared flat than a hostel. There is a fridge in the lounge and in each in the rooms, which really helps. There is also a small kitchen and a microwave.
遊悠館 is located in Chitose, within 19 miles of Tomakomai Station and 22 miles of Shin-Sapporo Station. Featuring a shared lounge, the 2-star hostel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom.

Front desk man was so lovely. Super clean and comfy. Nothing super special but perfect for what we needed and amazing value.

Cute, clean and good value & good vibe. Private room is spacious. There are female-only shower rooms which are very clean too.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
The accommodation environment is clean and the price is cheap. There is a public bathhouse, and although it is a non-smoking room, there is no smoke smell in the room.
Conveniently close to the train station. Air conditioning was very good. It was under renovation so things were still being improved. Overall a quaint, reasonable hostel.
For solo traveller without much budget, this is definitely one of the best type of hotel you can imagine.
