The location is in a clean and green neighborhood, so better quality air. The staff were nice to check me in the middle of the night and flexible with rescheduling .There is no breakfast, it's more like light snack- toast and fruit limited to 2 pieces per person. My biggest gripe is that I booked a taxi through them because my arrival was in the middle of the night, but the guy ripped me off and I padi many times more the normal price to get to the hostel. I trusted the hostel's contact to not take advantage of me to avoid the vultures at the airport, but that it was what ended up happening. It was my first time in Africa and first point of entry and I got scammed right after landing. Terrible - so don't book any services through them! Me and others also found the safari prices to be way overpriced.

Here you will get the complete hostel vibe. You will meet and chat with many travelers from many countries. The location is good but the breakfast is poor. Also, it would be better if you did not charge extra charges like kitchen charge 1$, towel charge 2$, laundry charge 10$. All in all, I can recommend it.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
The room was so comfortable, clean with smart TV and fast Internet speed. Great location, safe, close to Quickmart, and easy accessible to public transportation. Perfect place to stay, felt very comfortable and would recommend to everyone visiting Nairobi.
Great location opposite Wilson airport so really handy for the early morning flights north. Terrific breakfast which was included in the room rate. Staff are so friendly and accommodating, it makes travelling as a single female very easy and I felt very safe. The taxi pick-up from Jomo Kenyatta was great again, the driver waited despite my flight being late - and immigration taking the time it always does!
I used Nairobi as a base from which to organise my tours and activities so I stayed at Nairobi backpackers several times in-between each activity.
I had a comfortable stay in one of the dorms and managed to meet a couple of people at the hostel (despite the fact that it was a bit quieter given that it was low season).
Steven who looks after the place is nice and provided a warm welcome. He also arranged for me to attend a 4 day safari at a competitive price (cheaper than what I found elsewhere).
The best hostel in Africa!
The hostel is located in a safe area of town & close to all essential amenities.
Vincent the owner knows of all the happenings in town & joins in every chance he gets.
I also met Vincent in his home town & he showed me around for the two days I was there.
