Well located in the centre of Anuradhapura, Feel Like Home Anuradhapura provides free WiFi throughout the property, a garden and free private parking for guests who drive.

The staff was really nice and it wasn’t too big. We sat all together in the evenings. Hosts sat with us and made it fun for everyone. They are very active in organising the safari and also some tours if you like. They do recommend nice local places for food. I really felt home!

Lovely location next to palm trees and rice fields! Super peaceful, countryside living. I ended up staying two extra days just because of this guesthouse.

Situated in Anuradhapura, 1.9 km from Kumbichchan Kulama Tank, City Capital Hostel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

The building is very old and should be renovated! The room has AC and ventilator and a mini bar so everything works. It is extremely simple but for a short stay it is ok! It said there was the option to add breakfast for 3€ but it was not possible! The staff did his best to be welcoming! I think I was the only guest so they gave me a bigger room with a window! They had a bike to rent which was old but working for a couple of hours of biking around the old city!

Conveniently situated in the centre of Anuradhapura, Kingfisher Hostel features rooms with free WiFi 800 metres from Kumbichchan Kulama Tank.

Hostel is good value for money, it is very small (just the one mixed 4 bed dorm next to the owners room). There is a kitchen and shared bathroom as well, however it would be nice if the kitchen was a bit more kitted out (i.e. some bowls, mugs etc). The beds are nice and very big for just one person. An addition of a private light per bed would make a big difference as it quite dark in the beds. There is an individual fan per bed as well as main room fans. The owner is super lovely and helpful, he is very happy to give recommendations for places to visit and restaurants etc, and he also can rent you a bicycle for the day.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

The best hostel I‘ve been so far. Jonti and Hoppsi are great hosts, always making sure everyone is fine. It is a wonderful and very calm place to be and relax. I can highly recommend it!

The room was stylish, new, comfortable, cool (with A/C) and well located for a tranquil and relaxing stay. This was a very welcome for me after a lot of hostel stays. The staff are all really friendly and the owner helped organise dinner, breakfast, a TukTuk around the Ancient City (considering my budget) including a drop off to the bus station for my trip to Negombo. We also had really interesting conversations in the morning. Thanks so much for a really great stay!

Cheap hostel, and you get what you pay for, which is obviously fine if you're on a budget! The beds are quite large and each has a strong fan, which is great for the heat. I found the beds very comfortable, vut some people might find the matress too hard/thin. Host is very nice and helpful. Bicycles are available for rent to visit the ancient city. Large lockers available too.

This place is perfect for backpackers, close to the bus station and to the archeological site, there are some places for eating 5min walking. This place by itself is really pretty, chill, quiet, and clean. There is a little kitchen, good wifi, good beds. You can even rent a bike ! As a solo female traveler I felt really safe and the owners were really nice to me, I loved my stay ! Thank you so much again guys, hope to see you again !

Coming from a no aircondition bb, we loved the rooms with aircondition! Very clean with large beds, soap available (not all places have that) and great location. Close to the new bus station, shops and supermarked, and still very quiet. The breakfast was cheap and delicious with plenty of food. Owner really friendly and even offered to take us to the old bus station upon departure. We would come back any time!

Helpful and smily staff, always ready to help. The breakfast was very good and not expensive 3$. I had the luck of having the room for myself but if I hadn't wouldn't have been half as comfortable. But, otherwise, for the price, which is very cheap, the hostel is very good

owner was so lovely and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable. Nicest hostel beds I’ve stayed in so far, large beds and very private. it’s great location to explore all the history around and right next to a lake which is beautiful at sunset! Definitely recommend especially as such good price!

They allow to prepare the kiri ahara in the early morning 4AM ( a kind of buddhist offering) in the kitchen, which has all the necessary tools for the job We got them to prepare tea even at 10PM and 5AM Kept our bags safe even after checkout for 3-4 hours. Basically staff service is excellent. There's towels and soap We took budget rooms, and they bang for the buck. There's an iron in the common area
