I had a wonderful stay in this place! The host, Hassan, was incredibly kind and always available to help with anything I needed. The place itself was spotless, very well organized, and equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The beds were super comfy, and the entire space had a calm, peaceful vibe, located in a quiet area just a short walk from the center. On top of that, the price is amazing for the quality and comfort you get. I highly recommend staying here!

It was a lovely colorful hotel, yards from a gate into the old city. The owner was helpful, welcoming and informative.
The terrace and communal breakfast room were a delight, particularly the bright decoration.
This is a strictly non-smoking hotel, good to know in town with a liberal attitude to the local brands.
The restaurant next door had a former NYC top restaurant chef in residence cooking beautiful dishes at very reasonable price (the sole was OMG).
Chefchouen’s quaint and welcoming bar and wine store is a six-minute walk.

Nicely lost in the middle of the mountains, great view and surrounded by nature.
Even if we were the only customers, we could still order food on our arrival.
Really nice room with a living room included and all the outdoor areas.
Was a bit quiet on a weekday in April, but at a better time and with more customers, the place must have a great lively feeling.

Staying in La Joya was a really nice expriences which also helped us get into the local culture, it's pretty centric located and it has facilities, there was no breakfast included and the staff was pretty attentive even though they didn't understand french to the perfection but we managed to communicate. I would stay again and recommend La Joya for travellers like us in Chefchaouen.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Very nice location in the medina, close to a very cheap and good moroccan restaurant where you can eat breakfast or dinner. The bed was comfortable and rooms were cozy. Perfect for a budget stay in Chefchaouan so much so that we decided to extend our stay :)
I extended my time in this hostel for some solo time in Chefchauen, and honestly what a brilliant decision. I had the most incredible time here. The people I met, the kindness of the staff, the beautiful roof terrace, and the great location of the hostel... 10/10
The internet is quite fast, I had a couple of meetings and the calls went smoothly.
I have nothing else to say more than enjoy your stay, eat delicious tajin in the nearby restaurants and have fun walking around.
I loved the vibe in this hostel. The staff and owner(s)? are very friendly and the terrace is the best place to meet other travellers and just relax. It has a beautiful view to the Spanish mosque and is super comfortable. I had a cold and didn't feel well when I arrived. Here, I had found the perfect place to recover and spend a good time in wonderful company. Thank you so much :)
The rooms are all clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and smaller than in other hostels but also much cheaper.
All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A special mention to Ahmed at reception who advised on what best to see and recommended a wonderful restaurant. Great location. Safe and secure motorbike storage.
We didn't see the staff apart from at breakfast but they were very pleasant. Breakfast was very good. The Dar has a lovely terrace and is in a great location.
It was cheap.
This was the best hostel I've stayed in so far in Morocco (been here almost 2 weeks! Everything was clean, staff were super helpful in recommending and advising on things to do (mostly hiking for me). Beds all have curtains which is a massive plus. Overall a really good hostel with an amazing rooftop and atmosphere!
Excellent hostel accommodation, run efficiently and friendly. I liked the curtains at each bunk bed to pull across for privacy. Staff pleasant and helpful. For the budget price, the breakfast was excellent. Quiet yet central location.
Best hostel on my trip in Morocco. Ossama is a legen. Super helpful at give you places to go and just genuinely lovely to chat with. Hostel is in a great location and facilities were perfect. Ossama is currently renovating so it’s only going to get better! The location is A+, having a private room was so amazing and the whole place is blue and is right on theme.
