I had a wonderful stay in this place! The host, Hassan, was incredibly kind and always available to help with anything I needed. The place itself was spotless, very well organized, and equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The beds were super comfy, and the entire space had a calm, peaceful vibe, located in a quiet area just a short walk from the center. On top of that, the price is amazing for the quality and comfort you get. I highly recommend staying here!

It was a lovely colorful hotel, yards from a gate into the old city. The owner was helpful, welcoming and informative. The terrace and communal breakfast room were a delight, particularly the bright decoration. This is a strictly non-smoking hotel, good to know in town with a liberal attitude to the local brands. The restaurant next door had a former NYC top restaurant chef in residence cooking beautiful dishes at very reasonable price (the sole was OMG). Chefchouen’s quaint and welcoming bar and wine store is a six-minute walk.

Nicely lost in the middle of the mountains, great view and surrounded by nature. Even if we were the only customers, we could still order food on our arrival. Really nice room with a living room included and all the outdoor areas. Was a bit quiet on a weekday in April, but at a better time and with more customers, the place must have a great lively feeling.

Staying in La Joya was a really nice expriences which also helped us get into the local culture, it's pretty centric located and it has facilities, there was no breakfast included and the staff was pretty attentive even though they didn't understand french to the perfection but we managed to communicate. I would stay again and recommend La Joya for travellers like us in Chefchaouen.
