Good location near one of the local night food markets. Nice bed in a big room and filtered water in the kitchen. There were also plenty of shared bathrooms to use, good Wi-Fi, and lounging space downstairs. We had an issue with one of the pillows and the staff was there within a minute to sort it out.

We stayed at 2 different Aayu locations while in Penang and this one was our favorite! It's a bit more quiet near Beach Street, which we enjoyed. The location was really good, near to the jetties and food markets. Wi-Fi was good, the bed was comfortable, and the room had plenty of space. There were plenty of bathrooms around, filtered water in the kitchen, and a nice area to hang out in. They also send you some great recommendations for food and sights to see upon arrival.

The location was very convenient as it is close to a lot of local eateries and bus stops that goes places. It is also close to a lot of the main attractions in george town. The room that I had was spacious and what I expected it to be. Bed was comfortable. The showers and toilets are plentiful in numbers albeit a little bit cramped in my opinion. PS: this place is self check in. They do have someone on site and they do send out a text message on whats app about the password for the main door and the room door. Just make sure you get the text message from them prior to your visit here. Communication is prompt and concise.
