New ZealandComfortable room, I checked in after hours which was easy and straight forward. There was a lovely note and hot cross buns in the room. The room and facilities had everything I needed and more. I loved that there was coffee, hot chocolate and marshmallows available in the communal kitchen. Friendly staff when I checked out in the morning.

I had a female-only room and the room was lovely, beds were comfortable, the showers and bathrooms were clean and decently modern. The kitchen was very well equipped, free spices/seasoning. The hostel has a small 'gym' room with mats and a few weights, a sauna, and a hot tub. WiFi was very good! Fantastic location, right in the centre. The hostel also has free bikes for hire! Being a local, she had extensive knowledge of the history of Fox Glacier and the community.. The kitchen, lounge and the room was thoughtfully decorated and spacious.
