CanadaLovely little spot with an alpine flavour, had a large kitchen with free popcorn and soup.Close to pubs and restaurants. Had a hot tub although it could have been warmer. Room itself wasn’t huge but it was clean and comfortable.

United StatesThis is a hostel style hotel but we had a queen en-suite. The common room near reception was well stocked. The reception offered complimentary French press coffee and tea with very small sausage rolls for breakfast, and coffee and tea with biscuit cookies in the afternoon. The manager (maybe owner?) was very friendly and helpful with dining recommendations and nearby hikes to Franz Joseph glacier. Well located for walking about town.

United Statesthe rooms were amazing! very cozy beds. the bathrooms were nice, but not very clean. i would have enjoyed my stay better if the bathrooms had been more clean for sure.

I had a female-only room and the room was lovely, beds were comfortable, the showers and bathrooms were clean and decently modern. The kitchen was very well equipped, free spices/seasoning. The hostel has a small 'gym' room with mats and a few weights, a sauna, and a hot tub. WiFi was very good! Fantastic location, right in the centre. The hostel also has free bikes for hire! Being a local, she had extensive knowledge of the history of Fox Glacier and the community.. The kitchen, lounge and the room was thoughtfully decorated and spacious.
