Global Village Travellers Lodge has free bikes, fitness centre, a garden and shared lounge in Greymouth.

I was offered pick up from the railway station. Comfortable homely feel to the room. Good cooking facilities, indoor and outdoor areas to sit. Good laundry facilities and covered washing lines outside. When I left the owner phoned me about an item found in the bedroom that fallen out of my luggage and came out in the car to give it back to me.

The manager was super friendly, as was Ruby the dog. Excellent value for money, the facilities were fabulous. Heater and electric blanket in the rooms was greatly appreciated. They even provided clean drinking water while a boil water notice was operating.

The cottage we were given looked tiny from the outside but was spacious and had plenty of room for four adults with two enormous bed and 1 separate bedroom. The bathroom was amazing. Loved the vintage touches with the old style writing desk table and vintage bath in the bathroom. Great to have laundry close at hand and safe bike storage
